Description of Vanilla Bling: The Ultimate Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste for Kids - Tanner's Tasty Paste (4.2 oz.)

MOM-MADE FOR KIDS: Dr. Janelle Holden, a Mom and Pediatric Dentist, knows how difficult it can be to get children to brush. So, she created a great tasting, safe, and effective toothpaste that will get kids to brush their teeth!. TASTY VANILLA FLAVOR: Our Vanilla Toothpaste brings that pure vanilla taste every time you brush your teeth. With great flavor bursting out of the bottle, it tastes like Vanilla Ice Cream. NO MINT TASTE: Tanner’s Toothpaste is great for kids with sensitivity issues normally found in minty/cinnamon toothpastes. There is ZERO mint taste. SUGAR & GLUTEN FREE: Tanner’s Toothpaste is NOT 100% natural, but it does not contain Saccharin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Artificial Flavors or Colors or Dyes. Sweetened with Natural Xylitol which is found in berries, vegetables, and birch trees. FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE: This toothpaste DOES contain Fluoride.

Misleading Product Listing

Visiting the product page, this toothpaste boldly claims to be "naturally delicious" and sweetened with "all natural xylitol". While xylitol is a key ingredient, until you scroll down to the full ingredient list, the grocery list purposely hides that it also contains SUCRALOSE. If you are avoiding artificial sweeteners, this product should be avoided, and yet it is clearly being marketed to people who would prefer to avoid it.

It does the job but the taste isn't as good as I was hoping

Toothpaste was sealed from the start. Reading the reviews on it made me very excited to try it as I love the taste of vanilla and am not a fan of most mint flavored toothpastes. However, I feel that the flavor is not quite what I expected, which isn't really the manufacturer's fault. I have a feeling it tastes more like butter cream cheese frosting, which sounds weird, but I think of it every time I use this toothpaste. A little grainy, but not critical for me. The toothpaste seems to do its…

Great to the touch/taste

I'm so glad we found this toothpaste. My 9 year old son has autism and I have tried every toothpaste I could get at the pharmacy or grocery store. He swears that any of these toothpastes taste minty or too strong. So this vanilla bling toothpaste was my saving grace for him because he was so frustrated he didn't want to brush his teeth anymore. He says he loves it and it's perfect and that's the only validation you really need. Thank you for thinking of children with taste sensitivity!

Moderately sweet, teeth are clean to the point of creaking, no taste

Bought for a child. Of course I had to try. He has been using the strawberry comb ever since. I've always found gratinated strawberries to be sweet, even sweeter than me - how disgusting must they taste for a kid with sensitive taste buds?! And toothpastes without mint always leave an aftertaste that makes the mouth feel less fresh. When I tried the vanilla tannins, I was pleasantly surprised that the toothpaste was slightly sweet, not gross at all - the taste was pleasant and mild. I was even…

I love this toothpaste but the standards are wrong

I love this toothpaste! It tastes great. I recommend it to my patients with sensory problems and aphthae (ulcers) because it does not contain SLS. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't meet current ADA guidelines. The current recommendation for children under the age of 2 is to use a rice grain sized fluoridated toothpaste until they can spit up and then a pea sized paste when teeth are erupting. The directions on this paste are wrong and I think a pediatric dentist should…

Son prefers vanilla to chocolate but loves both

I mentioned to our pediatric dentist (when I was there with our youngest) that I had trouble finding toothpaste that ours didn't have. Middle Child I Hate. He brushed his teeth (he is 9 years old) because we told him to, but he didn't like the taste of the toothpaste. Mint was out for obvious reasons (such a strong flavor for a young kid), he didn't like the strawberry flavor of Tom's of Maine for some reason, so for years I just went with Crest Kids Sparkle Fun because it was cheap (could buy…
