Suitable for universal stand

Obviously not made specifically for a specific headset but works well with what it is. The pictures in the instructions are a bit useless, but they are easy to put together. Seems. I wouldn't say strong, but strong enough. Another reviewer suggested putting caulk on the joints, so when you're ready to work it should give them a little more durability.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Expensive

Disagree with 1 star people.

I know why those who complain about sizes, factory posts, etc. complain. This is because the driving directions show a different distance between what is stated in the driving directions and what really is. For those complaining that this doesn't look like an addition. you better look again Take a close-up of the top image, then sip a tall glass of STFU. First world problems, phew.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • thin

Note for index users:

Everything is fine. I wouldn't say it's earthquake proof. The actual idea I'm trying to convey is that you need to take what Linus called the "little head adapter" pad and plug it into the headset. Stretch the headband to fit with the extra pad and be surprised that the best headset is also the most comfortable. Seriously, I wanted to sell my index and go back to Odyssey Plus. So much more convenient.

It has an ugly logo lol

It works, but there are a few things to watch out for: - It has a weird logo that doesn't appear on the product images - The Index controllers don't match the holders very well if you place them like in the product images (they need to be placed in reverse order to fit perfectly) - the instructions don't show the part where you need to add the holders for the controllers, I'm happy with that anyway :D

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Doubtful

It gets the job done, although it wasn't made specifically for the index.

First off it's an all in one VR stand but if it fits the index then it's fine. There are two hooks you hang the controllers on and as other reviews have mentioned you have to place them in the opposite direction as shown in the instructions. Also, as mentioned, the instructions don't include all the steps because they don't list the controller owners. Just look at the photos of the stand and you will understand everything. It would be nice if they just corrected their instructions.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Simply pleasant. in accessories

This is an index stand. That's all. I expected it to be metal but it's plastic. It's thicker than most plastics and not 3D printed, which is a plus. I haven't received my index yet, but will update the review as soon as I receive it. The instructions are a bit confusing, obviously they make a lot of VR headset stands from the base model of their stand. So your instructions show how to make ANY stand, which is a bit confusing. The control is instruction based and goes well beyond the actual…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Generally good, but...

A handy and cool way to store and display my headset.

I recently got my Valve Index and needed something to store it that would be easily accessible and would look good in my game. This stand was pretty cheap and does the job well. As long as you have room for it on a shelf or desk, it offers easy access to your headset, and its design feels slim and unobtrusive enough to fit well into most gaming setups, I think. My headset always sits there, inviting me to spontaneously dive into virtual reality when I have an inkling of what you're expecting…

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Legacy

Works as advertised! Better now with strong joints!

Edit: Since the stand is held together by friction and tight connections and nothing "snaps" into place, I disassembled the stand and reassembled it, applying silicone sealant to the splined joints. It's fixed now. You may want to buy a small tube of Dap sealant as it washes off easily with water if some of the sealant is squeezed out. The index and stand are on top of the box that the index came in. The stand was easy to assemble and holds the headset and controls perfectly. The checkered flag

Works great on Index

I got this after someone recommended it on the /r/valveindex subreddit. I've searched the market for some kind of stand, but most of the ones I've seen mount to a wall or hang the headset upside down to allow dust in. At $25, it's surprisingly pretty solid. It is lightweight and comes in a small box. I was surprised how small it is. The assembly is very simple. Its four parts (base, headset stand and two controller stands) simply snap together with no hardware required. Some reviewers point out
