Excellent clamps. - Clamps

I have these blue Irwin quick clamps in 3 different sizes and they are my favorite clamps. They are not as finely finished as my 50 year old Craftsman clips; but what about today? And I love how quickly they open and close thanks to the double threads.

Better quality expected from Irwin.

You can see from the packaging that this clamp was bad. The screw dangled as if worn. I returned it on credit. Update: At Menards I looked at the Irwin C clamps, these clamps had different threads and finishes. It is possible that the clamps I bought (and returned) from this seller were not genuine Irwin clamps.

Good but not the best in power and hand tools

I bought four Irwin Series 100 4"C clamps Pros: Good price, decent iron frame and screw. Cons: Very cheap swivel head. Thin Metal and poorly secured Swivel head is not strong enough for automotive or metal work Very thick paint peels easily Overall Rating: A little disappointing as I was expecting a better product.

Improved C-Clamps: C-Clamps

Bought several of these Irwins in various sizes. Everything is made of the same durable material and closes easily. The double thread allows effortless work. The neck is 3 inches deep enough to reach and hold with wooden planks for stability or whatever else you need to pinch. You will find that they are all heavy and well built, you can not only see it but feel it, from the smallest size to the larger 8 inches. Damage isn't a problem, and even if it were, you can always add something betweenโ€ฆ

Heavy duty clamp with chipped paint

These clamps are built to last (4 of them weigh about 5 pounds). The cocking mechanism is reliable and works well. The screw rotating rod is large for easy gripping and tightening, and the push head rotates to provide a better grip on the object being held. The print head surface is smooth and even. , unlike many other clips I've had so it grips better and doesn't damage the object being held. My only complaint is that all 4 of my clips arrived with chipped paint in many places and I gotโ€ฆ
