The position is a bit higher than I would like but still works well. I understand that if it were lower it would be blocked a bit by your steering wheel. Although there are some highly recommended mounts like Temai "anti-gravity" mounts etc. Most of them don't seem to have been updated for the 2021 update which has different ventilation.
