Don't be fooled by comparing it to a Makita, it does the job. I use it to drive rods into concrete and with a decent drill bit to drill holes first it will push them through. In the mud it performs even better than the Makita because it uses more BPM. EDIT 9/21/2018. I would give it 10 stars out of 0.5. I've made good money from it and with a little more work than the mighty Makita I've used before, I'd still say I'm not going to pay $1000 for a Makita. We'll see how it holds up over time but…

This is a real tool! In combination with the bucket bucket TR Industrial TR89102 you can move a lot of material. I was able to dig a 7ft round planter out of my yard in less than a week! This tree was root bound and mostly (2 of 3 trunks) dead. Look at the photos. I found mostly softball and basketball sized rocks in the root ball and in this planter when I was digging it up. You must know how to use a jackhammer properly or you will be looking at it on yourself and not the tool. One word, great. For concrete 1" to 5" thick I've seen 6" but that was a bit of extra work. Now this tool has arrived in perfect condition, no leaks, no dirt, no damage to the outer box. Now think about the time of transportation.
