We have created an additional safety shutdown for a mobile solar power plant. Our control circuit measures the voltage of the battery and when one of them exceeds the set tolerance it turns off a small relay which then turns off the power supply to that device. After reading the previous reviews I had doubts about ordering this device. However, it works as intended. (Note that this is not a long-term report.) I'm using it as an AC motor speed controller and it works for the initial tests. I had thermal paste between the relay and heatsink. There was NO terminal cover with me (- 2 stars deduction). Before connecting the power supply I removed the block from the heatsink, wiped off the thermal paste and washed the paint off the heatsink. I haven't read…

It works reliably for a year

I use it in my garage ceiling to control some LED lights from a garage opener. Has been working reliably for a year. As you know, using LED bulbs to illuminate your garage opener will reduce the range of the openers (if they work at all) and over time will burn out the garage door opener's internal wireless controller.
