Don't complain: Filter

The price is very cheap. There are no complaints about the work of the filter. I give 4 stars because the quality of the material is not 5 stars.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Nissan Rogue Whyyyyyy

Easy to install if you have small hands and know the location of the filter, the Nissan Rogue sucks because the filter is next to the gas pedal and there is very little space to access

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Volume

Ease of installation. fits spare parts

I have never changed a cabin filter. If you've never changed yours, buy this today and replace yours. My old one was literally dirty. It was so easy to install. I'll be fine for a few more years.

Pros
  • positive only
Cons
  • makes me worried

Difficult installation but not the fault of the filter itself

Finding a place to replace the cabin filter is very difficult. I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra. I replaced it myself because if a mechanic did it it would probably cost $20-30 and he would curse me for it. The filter itself does its job.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Filter works., on filter

Now I remember why I put it off! Nissan needs to get its head out of its ass. Due to their location in the car, they make it almost impossible to replace the cabin air filter. I'm guessing it's like taking it to the dealer and paying $75 to have it done. The filter works after being almost crushed to install it. I have a 2013 Rogue so hopefully the newer models make changing the cabin air filter easier!

Pros
  • Easy adjustment
Cons
  • Speed

Perfect for Nissan Rogue

Perfect for my 2013 Rogue and I'm glad I found it at a good price [$36 at Nissan!]. After driving through a locust cloud in Nevada I had to replace it because of the smell with the AC on and when I took the old one out I realized why [waves]. However, the filter in the Rogue isn't easy [center console at the gas pedal] and I had to bend the filters to remove or replace them. As soon as you insert it into the slot, it will regain its shape and all is well.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Functionality

It's good and it works.

The bright red color is new in the small frame it comes in. Another dirty old one. It was pretty tight trying to fit it in the bay to squeeze it into, so it's probably a little thicker than the spec says. It fit, it worked, the seal is better, so it doesn't matter if it's tight, but I deducted a star for that. Put it in a 2012 Nissan Rogue SL. FYI, I received a filter paper saying if I post an honest online review and send them a link I get a free filter, which I did. But it's good and I would…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Replacing the filter is PITA, but it's worth it!

On my Nissan Rogue, the cabin air filter slot is blocked by the accelerator and brake pedals, making it difficult to remove and install the filter. In my case, the task was complicated by the fact that my right hand (yes, I'm right-handed!) is in a cast. But I stuck to it and made it. I believe the old filter was installed at the factory in 2012! It was dirty! I vacuumed the slot before inserting the new one. After riding today I really noticed a big difference! It can be hard, but it's worth…

Cheap build quality

The filter appeared to be about the same overall size as the OEM but the quality was definitely not even close. To install this filter, you literally have to push it past the pedals. The OEM filter compresses very well upon exit due to its superior quality, but this filter ripped off the adhesive on its frame as soon as I squeezed it a bit while trying to insert it, rendering it unusable. The old OEM filter snapped back in perfectly right away when I had to put it in because that glue was very…

It is necessary and better to buy online

Dealer replacement costs $60-$80. I decided to test how much I can do and how difficult it is. Well, it's not super easy. Small but awkward upside down under the handlebars (and I'm a short guy) then it's not that easy as I put the filter in the slot to make sure the filter is in place properly. The one I installed 6 months ago turned out to be incorrectly installed. It was folded into "accordion" because I wasn't sure it was installed properly. Maybe it was a fit, maybe it was user error…

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Only available in white
