These chains are of excellent quality, however I was not aware of the different types of links in the chains. I expected more from what I later learned was a "Cuban" link lying flat. These chains are very easy to bend. Even if you put them on, they randomly curl up and spin. But I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm pretty sure the fault was on my side for not researching the different links in the chain.

I have bought similar metallic versions of this chain in the past without any problems but this black version was not of the same quality. My best versions look like intertwined strands of steel, but this version is made up of separate rings connected together. This means the rings are never in the same position and the chain doesn't look smooth. It often looks crooked and tends to get caught on clothing where each individual limb closes. It works in a pinch, but I was embarrassed to wear it…

Bought for my 11 year old son. He wore it for a few weeks and it broke while walking. No one pulled on it, he didn't drop it, it just fell off his neck while running and he found it broke in the middle. (First photo) Since it was clearly outside the return window I decided to buy him a new one and try again. Guess what. He collapsed again! This time in about 3 days!
