Very nice woodcuts

These woodcuts are VERY beautiful. I was planning on using them to make pretty Halloween and Christmas hangers, but I can actually see how they look with prints. I will say that due to the fact that it is a natural wood you may need to clean it up a bit to ensure the face is nice and free of dirt before proceeding with painting. But that's just the cost of working with natural raw wood!

Not for pyrography

I bought these specifically for firing house style Christmas decorations, but I don't like them at all. First, out of the ten pieces I received, only eight were usable. One of them had a large chunk pricked out and the other bad chunk had a weird gray goo (tar or tar?) bleeding on both sides. Apparently it was still very young wood with a high moisture content, which caused the wood to burn unevenly. I was very dissatisfied and would not order again.

High quality natural wood slices - no cracks or defects - pre-drilled holes for hanging

I know of several natural wood slices with bark. I use woodcuts for engraving and painting. I'm looking for pieces of wood without cracks or breaks. Cracks can occur if parts are not properly drilled. This set was flawless. The pieces are thick and I'm impressed with the quality. They are smooth and without splinters. The bark evenly surrounds each piece. I am happy with the order and would order again.
