I've read so many reviews about Contax G to Sony E adapters. Most of the best reviews have been for adapters that cost hundreds of dollars. This adapter had no reviews for this particular coupler and I couldn't find anything online other than the Urth website. Great product but had to go to Urth/Gobe for a replacement. The adapter itself is well made and fits perfectly. Pleased with the build quality. But the first adapter I received was defective. The camera's locating pin hole did not snap into the adapter. The adapter held up well without a latch, but I didn't feel safe using it without a latch. I turned to Urs. This lens adapter is perfect for my A7R IV. From the lens side though. very close. It feels like the tolerances are definitely not perfect. Disappointing as this is the nicest adapter out there. As for the hold/release springs, this one is very picky as it's on the weak side. I have trouble detaching some lenses and attaching others (sometimes I have to press a button on the side of the lens).
