My husband loves this razor, this is the second he has bought but we couldn't find it in our regular stores so we found it on Amazon for a great price ($12). ! The reason for buying a new one (the grip blade release mechanism jammed after a few years of use) would be covered under the "Limited Lifetime Warranty" under normal wear and tear.
