This hotspot works great especially when you are in an area with poor signal.

We live in a rural area, on the edge of our only cell phone mast. Our previous hotspot offered poor signal and slow download speeds. Also, his signal became erratic with age and he lost signal even when our cell phone hotspot function had signal. Right now, this device delivers a much stronger and more stable signal with much faster download speeds. The only thing wrong was that the SIM we bought with it (it was recommended as a buy recommendation for the MiFi6620L) was the wrong one. Theโ€ฆ

It costs more than you expect

I use "RV" for connection on the go. When I received it, I noticed that there is no SIM card inside, this is normal. I bought one for $5 and installed it. The device needs to be activated somehow, I gave up trying to figure it out and took it to the Verizon store. First thing he did was rip out the $5 SIM card I bought and throw it in the trash, then hand me a new SIM card (free) (activation beckoned). Gave me an opportunity to have a plan other than my own and it was fun! For example $15 perโ€ฆ

We beat our jetpack

Love this unit, very quick delivery and easy to set up. Great lighting in my two story house and I recently occupied this campsite in New Braunfels, Texas. Very strong signal all day and very strong signal when camping and we were just happy with this jetpack. I also like its size and I won't go into the specs of the device as it's all listed on Revain but to tell you that he's on vacation with this device right now. We beat it up by leaving it completely out on a picnic table in the rain, andโ€ฆ

It takes a little longer than swapping out SIM cards, but still works great.

1. Micro SIM card required. The one I had was a full size, but Verizon will replace it for free, which they did. I received mine in three business days (free shipping), but you can pay around $7 for two days. Inserted a new SIM card but received limited access. You need to call Verizon and provide the IMEI which is under the battery.3. Works perfectly! I first tried a factory reset using the online troubleshooter, but that didn't work for me. The above steps got the device working. This deviceโ€ฆ
