🌬️ 16847 Cool Air Intake Kit by Volant Review

I have installed this valance CAI with a shovel for many years. The only issue I've ever had was the scoop coming off the bumper, which was an easy fix. It worked great, very satisfied.

I live in Germany and you can't buy stuff that cool for a truck. So I ordered from the US. It has the perfect fit. I installed it in less than 20 minutes. All items were included. Looks great when the hood is open. The sound of the engine has changed, it sounds deeper and more aggressive. Overclocking is much better in my opinion. It looks like spending has increased by as much as 10 percent, but that's not really the case yet. So I would buy it again.

that made my 4.7 RAM horribly noisy. thought with the filter box closed or at least 90% larger than k&n that would be nice but trust me when you hit the gas you don't hear your own thoughts. hated that he came right back. Plugged my airaid jr kit right back in and performed much better than volant which sucked all my power, couldn't really feed the traffic. For the money this kit is worth it should be at least as good or even better than an air cleaner and tuned pipe with a standard filter box.

Not happy from the start to be honest I paid shipping for two days but didn't get a refund on shipping I think that was ok. The intake comes here, and the vent hose gets punctured, the box thumped, and everything in chips. The trunk, which connects to the throttle body, was oversized, very thin, and cheap. If the filter was thrown in a box I could fit halfway through to allow dirt and water to get to the back of the filter. I work in an auto repair shop and would not recommend this product to…
