They are fantastic and come in a very nice plano case

They are fantastic and come in a very nice plano case! I bought this pack to try them out, thinking that even if I didn't like them, I would at least have a nice little bag. I love them and will probably order another one so I have two boxes before I start ordering 2 and 3 wire arm nuts in bulk. They made my life so much easier on the first project I tried them on: I removed a half-hot outlet and connected the switch to the new ceiling light I was installing. I misunderstood how it was…

Disappointed, does not work as expected.

I first saw these connectors on a YouTube video and thought they were pretty cool. I read a lot of reviews about Revain on here but ignored the negative ones because there were so few of them. They weren't expensive so I gave them a try. After my house was painted, I bought new sconces and planned to use these clips, but after trying two of them and neither of them helped attach the wires properly, I gave up and used the rotating type that came with the sconce was delivered. I tried several…

Glory to the lever nuts! in Electrics

I first discovered the Wago Lever Nuts (aged grey) on a smart home enthusiast forum of which I am a member. They came highly recommended for us DIY smart home enthusiasts who do things like replacing 'dumb' switches with 'smart' switches (like zwave, insteon, etc.). The problem that lever nuts solve is space savings combined with a little more flexibility in wiring layout in densely packed electrical junction boxes. If you know this symptom, you will understand. Try taking a bunch of 3-5…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Received the Wago lever nut assortment today and replaced the old socket with the new one on it just two screws. The new outlet also had two USB ports for charging electronic devices. The wires were 12 gauge and very difficult to maneuver in the small socket. I had two white neutrals on the input and two black power lines on the old outlet, plus a ground on the outlet. That meant the power went elsewhere next to the outlet I was replacing. Since there were only two screws on the new outlet, I…

Pros
  • Test for a year

  • Easy repairability

UL listed, very good connections, easy to open and close

North America and Europe differ in many ways. 120V vs 240V, 60Hz vs 50Hz, Wire Nuts vs Wagos. While the first two differences are unlikely to change, the Wago 221 makes it easy to eliminate the third. Wire nuts make good strong connections, but they take a long time to twist, don't make connections easy to verify, and it can be difficult to connect a large number of wires under a properly sized nut. Connecting wires of different gauges can sometimes be problematic. Wago 221 also makes good…
