Bad reaction. for hair dye

Hello. I don't usually leave bad reviews for products even if I don't like them, but I felt this review was necessary. I used this dye with Wella developer. I have never used Wella products. I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to hair dye or developer in my life. I've been coloring my hair since I was a teenager and have used many different colors. I of course mixed it up and applied it directly to the head instead of taking an allergy test. I acknowledge it. A few minutes after it was on my…

672/7A Medium Smoke Ash Blonde Unflattering

Wella 627/7A Medium Smoke Ash Blonde. I was expecting something more ashy and not so yellow. I applied Wella 246/5A Light Ash Brown to it and it came out very dark. Not good. Luckily it was just a strand and not my whole head. I'm going to try Dark Blonde and if that doesn't work I'll drop Wella altogether and try another brand.

Pros
  • Robust Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

BEST Hair Color for Hair Care

I've tried all the hair color lines and wish I'd tried Wella first. It is way better than all other brands. The colors are the most natural and my hair looks a lot healthier than others. I have a high percentage of gray hair and I find this gives very good coverage. I still have to touch up roots every 3 weeks but I use Wella so often and enjoy it. I recommend using Wella developer with it.

  • Complete Kit

Nice golden shade and easy to use gel consistency

First time using shade 8RG. I really liked it, it's very golden, not too red, but at first it looks quite light, and after a few washes it became less light. I got it. great for adding more gold when my regular red is leaning towards red. I prefer this wella color charm gel in a ratio of 1:2 to the wella color Tango cream and in a ratio of 1:1, the gel is easier to distribute in the hair and with a color-developer ratio of 1:2, one tube can be used longer .

Color Charm is Charm

Well Cinnamon "5WV” 5 is the color wheel number, "W” for "WARM” shade and "V” for PURPLE which I need and which one I want. If you don't like reds or shades of red then get THIS one. Those with red skin or pale faces should always get purple or buy a bottle of purple tint magic (I can't remember what it's called, but you add your normal dyes to that bottle). , remember it's PURPLE) I'm so glad I got this and the seller I ordered it from got it for only two here? or three days I think, just in…

My stylist recommended Wella. I mostly have gray hair around me.

My stylist recommended Wella. I have mostly gray hair on my face and almost none on the back of my head. Redheads don't usually get along well with gray hair, and that's definitely true of me. However, the red fades after about 4 weeks and looks like highlights, so not too bad. When mixed with a developer, the smell is not terrible and the color is very beautiful. I recolor every 4 weeks along with a haircut. I just can't get my short hair colored by a salon. This works a lot better than the…

Works great!

A few years ago, tired of the boldness of home and salon hair dye, I came across Wella Color Charm Gel at my local Sally Beauty store. The label promoted gray coverage, more glitter and less brass. I have to stay, I've been impressed since I first used it. In my experience it does all of those things, with the exception of Ash, which doesn't keep its color around my temples. I found a little trick for this: Choose a shade or two darker (natural vs. ash), mix a small amount of developer and…

Think it's ok!

Well I'm not a professional and to be honest I often had no idea what I was doing during this process. It all started when I used the Manic Panic 30 Volume Bleach Kit on my long hair with dyed blonde ends and naturally dark hair. I originally planned to bleach the ends and mids to color them with Wella Frost Ash and T18 toner, but after washing off the bleach my head was strawberry blonde with a brown stain on the back and the tips were lemon yellow. I was putting on frosty ash color and toner…

Great color! in hair color

I love Wella products. I usually use the liquid version of the same color, but the gel version is good too. It's creamier and easier to apply without messing up. I will say that I feel the color lasts a bit longer when I use liquid, but it's still really cool. This gives me the darkest possible brown without fading into black. I repaint every 2 months and have found that this paint tarnishes more than the liquid version but it's not a big deal. The liquid is usually sold out and I don't mind…
