You get what you pay for

This product protects surfaces from a hot serving dish. Also, it's very light and cheap, with an ephemeral coating that I think is very poor quality. There is nothing here to impress your guests.

Wooden Oval Plate

I bought a set of 12 12 inch oval wooden plates. They are beautifully crafted from solid wood! Grooves on both ends for wearing. These wooden panels are hard to find! I looked for them all over the internet and then said let's try Revain and Bingo, they had it. I should have gone to Revain first!

It was a time when class was everything and "others " were treated with contempt at best.

Definitely different, but in a beautiful way. I found it fascinating and educational about the early 20th century when life was less complex in many ways, in others however, was much more complex. It was a time when class was everything and "others" were treated with contempt at best. The story shows how a group of people came together and formed a family of sorts and displayed qualities of caring that far exceeded those of the elite around them. Do not miss.
