For the most part I'm happy with this inexpensive light that works great with zoom and fills in dark spots on my face. The only thing that confuses me is the difficulty of moving it once installed. The back of the sucker has an adhesive part that is difficult to remove after installation. I hope I can easily transfer this from desktop to laptop, but it's too complicated. Now I have it permanently installed on my desktop.

Here's a simple tip from a pro photographer (who has been using professional ring lights in the fashion industry since 1977). If you are using a laptop or desktop computer, you can mount the Ring-Lite so that the webcam lens is in the center of the light source hole (do not attach the Lite to the suction cup, use velcro or double-sided tape to fix this do). Initially this light was good but only lasted a few months and had problems. I didn't send it back because I used it for a few months but ended up buying another one. This is a classic "you get what you pay for” situation. If you want this for your child this might be a good buy, but not if you use Zoom at work. The suction was also an issue, I prefer to put it on top of the monitor/screen. It was cheap so if you need it temporarily it might work but it won't last long.

Second day when it was stuck to my computer the suction failed and it fell as it fell it also managed to fall well enough to catch the light off the base to break. So now it's practically useless. This is a great product that is changing the world. There's a window behind me and my camera faces the sun most of the time, which can make my reflection in Zoom meetings quite awkward. With this little ring light, I don't have to worry anymore. I have good coverage in all meetings no matter the time. This is a great little flashlight at a great price. It has 3 light levels from bright LED to softer, medium light and more pleasant warm light. I prefer the latter as it can directly illuminate my face during a video conferencing session without having to squint, which is an issue with most direct LED lights (although they are somewhat adjustable).
