Easy installation Suitable for emblems

It took 2 minutes to install in total. Screw into the threaded circle on the back of the Z71 shield. Insert it, leaving some space to install the back plate. Then add washer and both screws. Pull the plate forward to align it and tighten the screws. READY TO RACE!

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Appearance

Looks good but won't last long

This badge looks great on my grill. My truck looked great for a few months, but once the winter wore on the chrome oxidized and the floor panel holding it to the grill was completely rusted in just a few months! It's good that it's cheap because the quality isn't very good.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Maybe even better than OEM

It seems to be of better quality than the stock badge. Replaced an existing grille emblem on my 2017 Z71, exactly the same size. I didn't use the plug/stud that came with it (and I'm not sure how you could). The OEM was installed with tape and I did the same with 3M automotive double sided tape. Easy to remove (with heat gun) easy to put on, looks great!

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • not reliable

You can risk it. But he is heavy.

Requires large rear window. Dropped mine and couldn't find it again. There was also a black spot in part 7 that drives my OCD crazy, not to mention a halfway dimple in part 1. I do not know. The plastic replicas I got for half the price included two with 3m tape and had better quality control iirc.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Obsolete

Nice emblem, the best in Emblems

It could probably be raised another 1 inch but I like it. I couldn't use the equipment and didn't feel safe anyway. In the end I fixed it with Oriellys sealing glue, I use this material for such things or emblems. I'd have to wait until summer when it gets warmer before I could take it out. If it's stolen, you'll have another order on the way! Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Null

How best to install in Emblems

Instructions are not given anywhere or here or in google. When I looked at it I noticed 2 holes on the back of the emblem. The thin threaded shank screws into the center or offset hole on the back of the emblem then it can be placed onto the grille and the base plate, nuts and washers can be placed into the grille and bolted with the nuts provided - I used red Loctite on the End of emblem and blue on end nuts.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not in fashion

Looks good on my grill

Looks and feels good. The only thing I think is a disadvantage is the mounting material. The emblem has 2 thread areas for screws. The problem is that there is only one screw in the bracket with a screw hole (exactly as pictured). I went to my trash can and found a screw with the same thread pattern and drilled a second hole in the bracket. I'm pretty sure one screw would be enough, but I didn't want the emblem to curl, so I use a second screw.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Weight

EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

I am writing this review for those who are looking to buy. This is a high quality metal plaque for your truck. Looks great as an OEM. The factory badge can be easily removed by prying it off. The factory model has dowel pins protruding through the grille. On some trucks (like my 2016 1500) it may be necessary to cut or compress the rear tabs to get them out of the grille. Once it's done, just rip it off. You'll see that GM also uses duct tape. My 2018 2500HD has dowel pins on the Z71 factory…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Good but not great
