I've had a pair for several years. They wear out. A year or two later there was a fire in the microwave. Crystal cat litter and a thin sock are also effective. We prefer to buy them as they are. We go shopping.

I put this in a very humid place 11 days ago. Unfortunately I don't notice any difference. 35 years ago I had something that worked like a charm. I felt the bag and knew it worked. I wish I could find something similar.

I had to put some things in the trunk of my car when it was really pouring rain and it got very wet inside. I didn't think it would dry on its own. So I got these two little desiccant bags and they did the trick in just a few days! Now everything is in order.

I use these bags to get rid of excess moisture in my washing machine when I'm not using it.
