Great travel set for painting, drawing and crafting

ZenART Supplies Watercolor palette for beginners is amazing! I bought the Allegro set which comes with 24 beautiful colors, a round water brush, a flat brush, a built in blending palette, a sponge and a very nice pewter and metal travel case. The set includes a small booklet about watercolors and other ZenART products, and a card with all the color names so you can create your own small watercolor patterns and see how they actually look on paper. This is the perfect set for beginners and those…

Great product for the price!

This color set is amazing! It has 24 amazingly vibrant colors that look great on paper and blend well. The packaging design is excellent, very pleasant to look at, thought out to the smallest detail. The paint is well laid out, there is a sponge next to it, so you can dab it with a brush to remove excess water. The lid contains a mixing bowl and a compartment for a regular brush and a travel water brush. I was so excited to see the included water brush as it is a very handy tool that can be…

Very nice watercolor set.

I really enjoyed using the ZenArt Allegro watercolor palette. It is small and easy to carry. It contains almost all the colors you need. I also like the marked color mixing areas on the lid. While I haven't used the sponge area next to the colors when painting at home, I can see that it's useful when you're painting on the go. All the water in the brush is cold but I just couldn't figure out how to control it so I decided to dip the brush in the water. Maybe I just need more practice with this…

Ideal for beginners or painting on the go

Seems to be thoughtful product design, such as B. a plastic splash guard to prevent paint from being contaminated by paint residues in the mixing containers when closing. The addition of a sample card was a nice touch. And the plastic is removable so the surface underneath can be used as extra mixing pads. The sticker on the case was crooked, making it difficult to open the case, but this was probably an unusual occurrence. The starch on the flat brush melted slightly and the water brush held…

Great for artists of all levels

This product is really suitable for beginners and artists of all levels. A very handy tool they give you is a paper sample with the color names already written on it. Getting a new watercolor palette can be very intimidating, but sample paper is a great way to familiarize yourself with the product. I like that the color can become transparent with enough water and very opaque with less water. This is a quality not found in all watercolor sets. Personally, I like to mix watercolors with a gel…

Really great colors and packaging for the price

This watercolor palette really surprised me in the best way. I did not expect such a large increase in pigment from a product in this price range. The choice of colors is really well sorted and you can play with it. I really enjoyed layering the colors and keeping them as vibrant as they were. I wasn't sure about the packaging at first as it has plastic bowls inside, but I see the reason as it's very functional for water fountains. I think it's great that there are two brushes that you can…

Great choice of colors and quality!

Okay so I don't use a lot of watercolor and to be honest I don't like anything that isn't digital. I used to try Five Below and Michaels $5 watercolors, the colors were clumpy and cloudy which I hated. Also, a cheap plastic case didn't add to the quality of the product. On the other hand, this watercolor made an immediate impression when I received it. Packaging: ZenArt really knows how to make their products. It's beautiful and simple, but practical. I really like the Japanese accents in the…
