Perfect for my African Sulcate

My African Sulcate loves it. When I take him outside, the first thing he does is check his plate of food. If I bring him, he will come running from the place where he was supposed to eat.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Recommended product for reptiles and amphibians

This product was recommended to me by my online turtle group but I wasn't sure my sulcata would like it. Other dried hay products were turned down so I was wary of wasting money. I soak it and mix it with his favorite veggies and he loves it!

  • Best in niche

Grassland's best Herbivore Turtle Pellet

After soaking, both my Russian and Sulcata like this pellet. Don't feed your turtle vegetables, learn proper nutrition. Many should eat herbs first. This is a great product and a little goes a long way!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I don't mind it's fine

Love all the vitamins in it for my turtles

I have been using this product for 10 years now, my turtles are 10 years old now. I find that the vitamins in it have helped a lot in keeping my turtle healthy. Give it to them about twice a week, works great, they love it.

Pros
  • Great price

The best food for your turtle

Have bought this brand for 2 years now. My turtle Sulkata loves it. I always add some water to expand and soften it. This size is enough for me. Pet stores in my area have sold out since the start of Covid. Revain's price is comparable.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

My turtle loves it!

These are hard pellets that need to be softened. For this they need boiled water. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. Because the container says to be softened with water, but it doesn't say it should be boiling water. I don't have any grass for him to graze on so he gets it along with leafy greens and greens. He the turtle loves it! As long as he's happy, I'm happy.

Good Product: Reptiles and Amphibians

Thank you for wearing this item. I used to buy Zoomed Grassland Tortoise Food for our desert tortoise but the local store didn't have it. I went up a size and it's perfect. I use it as a supplement to his pasture and hand feed him wet in a small bowl. He loves to. I use Zoomed because the ingredients match the recommended desert tortoise diet ie timothy hay, dandelion greens, other dried flowers and herbs, unlike other brands where the main ingredients don't make sense (corn, wheat and soy…

GREAT product, affordable, nutritious and convenient

I tried mazuri at first but my desert tortoise didn't like it. The pellets had been soaked in water for a long time and I could only get my turtle to eat them when they were sticking to their other food, fresh greens. After some research I decided to give this food a try. He likes to eat it right away and is much easier to prepare. 5-10 minutes in a cup of water to soften and it's ready to use. It has quality ingredients, it's convenient instead of buying fresh herbs, and it's very affordable…

Good food when used with vitamin supplements

I have been using this product since I had a bordered Greek tortoise and she loves it. I know there is some controversy about how safe it is to feed your turtle this food on a daily basis, but when used with the right vitamin supplements and lighting, this stuff works well through the winter. My turtle is almost 2 years old now, shell development and activity as expected. During the summer months I add weeds from my garden to this food to balance the natural nutrients my turtle needs. During…
