Great offer! suitable for portable audio and video

I bought this for my son's 8th birthday and couldn't be happier. It's simple enough to use as an MP3 player (I still help with playlists in media player) and the casing is strong enough to withstand wear and tear. I like the SD card so we can swap entire libraries later (or store videos on other cards indefinitely). If I were buying this for myself I would have bought the ZVUE 260 for its looks, but a heavier body seemed appropriate given its age. My favorite feature is the two headphone jacks.

Not your best choice.

Okay, Zvue seemed like a good buy back then. But that's not the case. It only comes with a 125MB card that can only store 25 songs. I wanted it to have 4GB of storage so I went to the store and it's $50 or more for one. So it would be much easier to just buy another MP3 player (same price as a Zvue with a 4GB memory card [only about $180]) for the same price and get 8GB or more and you could probably get a better video player on this mp3. So it's much easier to buy a Zune or even an iPod. But I

Zvue is back because support is not responding. After receiving the player, I charged it all night. The next day I inserted an already made 1GB mp3 card. Well played, sound quality is good. two hours. That's right, a fully charged battery played MP3s for 2 hours. I called support who told me that the second level would get back to me immediately as a fully charged player should play between 4 and 6 hours. The so-called support service no longer calls back. They said they didn't have a record of

Great player for everyone

I have 2 of these. One for my husband who travels and one for home. I can convert the entire DVD in 2 steps (mpeg2 then dvix), the final file is around 89-129MB depending on the length of the movie. Pay attention to the width size, otherwise the file may not play. 160-144 pixels is good. 15 frames per second reduces the size. dr Divx is an older program but works fine. The clear picture on the screen is excellent, the sound is good, the battery life is up to 2 films. So far on a 2GB card (I got

Not an iPod killer, but it's enough.

I've never followed trends. Especially the exaggerated ones. So I never saw Miami Vice, Survivor, Ambulance. I never had a Pet Rock or My Little Pony. I'll never have a Blackberry, Razr or Chocolate (cell phone, of course I'll eat candy). So when the iPod showed up with its ubiquitous multimedia ad campaigns, I just ignored the pesky little upstart and ended up buying the iRiver, which I've been happy with for the past few years. Well, there are now media players that not only play music, but…
