Card bits for crypto. Boring but profitable

Hi, everyone! I want to share with you my recent experience of playing splinterlands. Literally yesterday, for the first time, I decided to go into this game to see what is happening here, how it works, what they earn here.

By tradition, for such projects, I registered through the Metamask wallet, a review of which you can read in my profile. When you first log in, the game starts a tutorial, thanks to which they try to teach new players the basic mechanics of the game - card battle. The process is the generation of a set of several parameters: card classes used in battle, the amount of mana for using cards, some special effects.

After that, the player chooses cards from his collection for himself, but the total cost of the cards should not exceed the mana allocated for the battle. Having completed his choice, the player confirms the beginning of the battle and then everything goes automatically. Then the results of the battle are shown and this is where the gameplay ends.

The game itself has an in-game store to purchase new heroes and cards to use in your battles. Thus, after training, you get to the platform, but how and what to do until the end is still not clear. This is the first thing I had to deal with and I did not like it. I decided to play ranked matches, which of course I lost. The strength of my cards leaves much to be desired, but in order to get new ones you need to buy them. The very process of choosing cards can be called strategic, but in reality you are just watching a cartoon of card strikes, and in low quality.

I decided to see how much the various cards on which people earn are worth, it turned out that they are not as expensive as, for example, kitties from the cryptokitties website. Of course, there are rare copies of the cards, but to get them you have to live in this game. I, as a connoisseur of card games (I love playing Hearthstone), find this game very boring and monotonous, and also independent of your actions.

Of course, it's good that they try to teach you the basics at the entrance, but for me personally, even this was boring, not to mention the game itself. There are several modes for battles, but I didn’t even want to try any of them. In general, I can say that if you want to enjoy the gameplay, then it is better to look for another option. You can probably earn money, but I don’t know how much time it will take to do this. Most likely you will get bored much earlier, you will earn something

Pros
  • SImple
Cons
  • Boring
  • Bad interface
