OmiseGo network and OMG token review

The OmiseGo project aims to provide a payment network similar to PayPal (in my opinion), where companies' financial accounts may be organised using this blockchain network in addition to the payment network. In general, the usage of a decentralised network and network transparency can help companies avoid theft and money laundering.

The omisego project is a 2017 product with an ICO, but the manufacturer, omise, was founded in 2013, which, in my opinion, adds to the legitimacy of this project, specifically OmiseGo.

In general, OMG is a cryptocurrency without permissions since it is open to its users, safe, open, and downward, giving members of its community with a high level of security and comfort when it comes to carrying out their permits.

Pros
  • Omise's strong ties to well-known payment networks.
  • Use the PoS method, which is quicker than the PoW approach.
Cons
  • It was preferable to employ a brand new, dedicated network (ie omg was a coin and not a token)
