Ideal yarn for family projects.

This is my first time using this thread. As a crochet specialist I only want the finest threads for heirloom projects and the fact that this was a 2,000+ yard Megaball made me want to try it out. Great thread! Feels silky as it runs through your fingers, the thread never breaks. Cheaper threads tend to loosen, the fibers are loose. I reordered this brand for another tablecloth. Love it!

Pros
  • Quality construction

Great price

I have been using this product for years and have bought it elsewhere, both in stores and online. I love the value here and it's still the same great product. I have been making bedspreads, tablecloths and placemats for many years and I stand behind this wonderful product. I recommend telling people that it is 100% cotton and cannot be washed or tumble dried. I also recommend using fabric of your favorite color for accents. And if the item you're crafting is a tablecloth, it's a good idea toโ€ฆ

A huge number of knots in a big ball!

I used to love Aunt Lydia's crocheted denim, but recently I bought a huge roll of white. I make napkins and I love the smooth texture of the ecru thread. But on my first project, a 16 foot napkin, I had already tied 5 knots in cotton and wasn't done yet. I already see a few more in the bowl that I can see. Inside I see several threads sticking out. This ball seems to have all the short ends tied together. I could use a small ball and it would have no knots. I am so disappointed. I'm not sure Iโ€ฆ
