I recently bought a new house. When spring came.

Recently bought a new house. With the arrival of spring it is time to start gardening. I hooked up a garden hose and was hit in the face when the hose burst. I found that before the pressure regulator leading to my house, the outside hose was connected directly to the city water supply. I connected this adapter to an external faucet and it worked. The pressure is now set and the hoses no longer flush. The only problem I had was the regulator cavitating when I attached a spray nozzle to it. He…

Relief valve disguised as a pressure regulator.

So this particular item is three times larger than the plain version without the cheap sensor. This is a pressure gauge with a cheap plastic ring and no pressure markings. In the fine print I finally noticed that it said "For external use only". The reason for this is that the "regulator" will let water through when over pressurized like a pressure relief valve. You don't want that in your cab or RV. For intended use, this probably works well enough if you don't mind wasting water. My city…

Works too well. Bought to downgrade.

Works too well. Bought it to lower the water pressure for our expansion hose. Excessive pressure caused leaks in previously purchased expansion hoses. However, the pressure is now so low that the hose does not really expand. The pressure gauge indicates that the pressure is now always in the LOW range and this regulator is not adjustable. That means it works, but the problem is that it can't be customized. The "regulator" appears to reduce pressure as it is a simple restrictor that reduces…

Free yourself from the guesswork; See the pressure at the source

When the water pressure dropped on our bus we didn't know if it was a low pressure source, a bad regulator, a clogged hose or something else lay water filter needed. We decided to replace the regulator to find and fix the problem. We found it with a pressure gauge offered on the same Revain page as the basic regulator. For a few bucks more it seemed like the way to go. Source pressure is not unknown. We think it was a good choice. Both the pressure gauge and the regulator worked perfectly. (It…

More Kamko trash! in fresh water systems

After running a little over 1000 liters of water through this so called pressure regulator I gave up, ripped it out and put the one that came with my RV back in place. When I thought that I was improving my water situation by using the camco brand, I realized that just because Camco stands on it doesn't mean anything. I bought a very large, maximum flow Superfood filter from Camco, which cost a lot more than regular filters, and after about 600 gallons decided it was a filter failure and…

Has been protecting my trailer pipes for three years now, good fit

This has been protecting my fragile RV water pipes for over three years now. I found the quality of the thread, the workmanship and the strength to be relatively high and I had no problems with the thread running out. I love how the pressure gauge lets me see exactly where I am when the water pressure hits the trailer. I like it a lot more than gaugeless regulators because I believe there is no need to guess or compromise on something as important as the integrity of my trailer's water system…
