The Fuji X100F is a great camera. I had X100S and X100T. In my opinion, this camera is the best of the X100 series. Focusing is quick and even. Image quality tops the charts at 24MP resolution, which is a significant improvement over the X100T. The digital zoom feature comes in handy at times and is like having another camera around your neck when you need it; another nice upgrade from the X100T. The face detection is very reliable and the joystick is an ingenious addition to this camera for…

soul in a box! in the Camera & Photo section

As the owner of the X-Pro.2 I was considering buying the X100F months before it was released because I had the X100S and was very familiar with it and would X100F bring. There was something about the X100S that no other camera I had owned before had, it had soul. This is a subjective conclusion from my experience with the X100S, but since I gave up and switched to the X-Pro.2, I've been missing it more and more. I took the plunge and bought the X100F because I knew it was very similar to the…

The FujiFilm X100F is a brilliant little camera with charm and soul.

Over the past 25 years as a photographer I can honestly say that the FujiFilm X100 series is my favorite camera of all time. Looking back at my portfolio, I'm most proud of the photos of my X100S and X100F because they "just captured the moment". For me, the prime lens forces me to prioritize composition and think outside the box. I've shot with multiple systems, starting with Canon film in the 90's, then Canon DSLRs. I switched to a Micro 4/3 system about 10 years ago, which was a nice…

Spectacular for digital cameras

I've been looking for a pocket digital camera for many years. I used to have a small Casio Exilim that took good photos, but later models didn't keep up. Panasonic Lumix had a good model before it was hit or miss. The Olympus TG series is good, but it's going downhill. Despite rave reviews, Canon SureShot was a joke. I kept getting angry. I bought this model without looking at the price tag and wondering what have I done? When I look at the first pictures from a pocket digital camera, it often…

Exceeded my expectations

Edit: Spent a month in Japan. I'm an artist so I take a lot of reference photos, mostly at f4 to get the most detail. This camera exceeded all my expectations. The images are insanely sharp and the JPEGs are rendered beautifully. The camera is very easy to use once you become familiar with the interface and controls. It seemed intuitive to me to just pick up the camera, turn it on and take a picture. With a prime lens, zoom is one less thing to worry about. In one month I took about 1800 photos

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • So so

The camera that made digital photography interesting again

If you like film photography, you'll love the Fujifilm X100F. If you like point-and-shoot convenience, you'll love the Fujifilm X100F. If you like high image quality, good colors, nice bokeh and a slightly long focal length, you will love the Fujifilm X100F. I'm a young man, but I started my photography career with film cameras. Like all Fuji X-series, the X100F is equipped with three things that I personally appreciate very much: 1. Optical viewfinder. As a bonus, you can use the pop-up mini…
