Buy cheap get cheap

This product looks and feels so cheap I don't even think China would take responsibility for its manufacture. costs about 1 dollar. Used as a temporary stub until Greddy shows up. This cheap aluminum is guaranteed to be removable, it's SO soft. +1 star because it fits

Pros
  • Reducing engine wear with magnetic drain plug
Cons
  • Minor issues

They work great in replacement parts

I love the magnetic drain plugs. These work well as the magnet sticks out making it easier to clean if it's stuck with sawdust. Make sure the magnet doesn't hit anything. Some applications are not suitable for this style, such as B. many differentials. I also like that the nut is large so you have full contact with the wrench and therefore less likely to round off soft edges since they are aluminum.

Pros
  • Color: Black/Red/Blue
Cons

broken threads. Best Oil Drain Plugs

Bought a 2019 4Runner and bought one of these for my first oil change. Fast forward to today for my second oil change (5000 miles). Put a new washer on top and turn it by hand. then used a torque wrench set to the appropriate specifications. Damn, the threads broke. The scariest feeling in the world is when you strip the threads on the drain plug, luckily I kept the original one and used a new washer instead. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.
