One of the best purchases I've made in years. I admit I overdid it a bit but I'm so pleased. TVS-471 streams music like a dream with Plex. Maybe it has more bells and whistles than I need? This is a business class NAS. But I wanted something that would deliver streaming music like Pandora, and it fits the job. I highly recommend it but only if you accept the price.

What I don't like about QNAP. Great service and great product. I use it for NAS, as a Plex media server and for virtualization. If you get it for iTunes server capabilities, NOT. It does not work as an iTunes movie server. QNAP keeps updating its firmware, so features like backup, snapshot backup, etc. keep improving. I liked that I could dedicate an SSD for virtualization.
