DO NOT DO THAT! in Heavy Duty & Commercial Vehicle Equipment

Mounting Options for Jeep Cherokee Class. Now I wish I had just drilled somewhere. The protective cover on the magnet felt like cloth and eventually crumpled, tearing the magnet through my 2018 Cherokee KLS black paintwork. Reach sucks, cable sucks

Pros
  • Lots of Positive Emotions
Cons
  • Bad Instructions

Waste of money

Sometimes you just get what you pay for. This antenna was tuned to around 2.2-2.5 at best. This is actually a good part of the review. The thing that killed the review was a lousy magnet meant to hold the antenna on your car's roof. Say goodbye to speeds over 55 miles per hour. I bought Wilson Lilwil and it's perfect. I easily switched to 1.1.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

An important little piece is missing.

Instructions state to insert whip and tighten with supplied hex key. A little problem not finding an Allen key. Nothing bad, but critical when assembling. Right away I don't trust any of them at this point. Further viewing of the play. No matter what I do, I can't get the SWR below 5:1 on any channel. This antenna is complete junk.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Going into the garage but overall this is a great buy.

Easy to install, holds up well even at 75mph on the Autobahn. I hung up, drove it into my garage in my new Silverado, and the first day I got home, it hit the door 7 feet up, scratched the roof, and bent the antenna. Don't buy unless you have a good gap because it will come loose. As for the antenna, great. Exactly what it advertises.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • So far so good

Purchased to improve the transmission and reception of my cCB portable radio. Note that if your CB has a BNC connector for the included antenna, you will need an adapter in this case. This is very handy when using my CB in my RZR and Jeep. I can switch from one to the other in a jiffy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some flaws

This Portable CB with Antenna Pack requires a separate ADAPTER

This Portable CB with Antenna Pack requires a separate adapter to connect the two parts together. It should be included but it isn't. You need to buy a COBRA HA-BNC CB adapter. Additionally, the CB is easy to use and appears to have a range of around 4 miles with an additional antenna. I hear a conversation when I turn on the radio in my house, but I'm not sure where it's coming from. I live in a flat, rural area about 3.5 miles from the freeway, so I suspect some of the chatter is coming from…

Couldn't even try

I lost on this one! "MADE IN CHINA" wins! Nice design. But of course the "fit and finish" failed again! I walk through the stages of dyno testing. Connected my classic CB to the mains. Have my SWR meter ready. I start assembling the antenna. BOOM! The whip is not included in the base. The hole in the base is too small. I make sure the small hex nut is fully loosened. But the whip is too big for this hole. Easy thing. But when you're waiting for it and having trouble configuring it, it's…
