Warm and soft without the weight

This isn't the fluffy velor blanket you see in some hotels, we had one too, but this is a thinner and lighter version. Here in Maine, it's perfect as a top blanket when you want to keep your room warmer, or as a layer under a heavy duvet. Our power went out at 3pm last night and this blanket with two other lungs warmed us up to 58 degrees Fahrenheit. We haven't had it long enough to know anything about durability, but it already had our 137-pound pup on it. and without damaging the toes…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Super soft and snuggly

After reading some not so positive reviews I decided to take a chance because it was the color I wanted and the price was right. It's awesome! Despite knowing the measurements, they were much larger than I expected, so they just about fit the bunk beds I ordered them for. The reviews also discussed what they are made of - love the texture! They are so cuddly and soft. Like all new bedding and clothing, I wash them before use and they wash/dry easily. I folded and rolled them like a pillow roll.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • sad packaging

Take the term "lightweight " seriously, this really is a summer duvet.

THIS IS A SUMMER BLANKET. NOT LIKE MY PAST PURCHASES OF VELLUX FLEECE. Last year I bought Vellux duvets similar to these but twice as thick and twice as warm. I want these, they are perfect. I use 1 of these previous blankets to sleep, 2 if it's 50 F in the house at night. It takes 2 to 3 blankets to do the same job as last year's 1 fleece blanket. I thought light weight meant the material was lighter than cotton with the same heat resistance, but in this case it means it's a lot thinner…

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • vulgarity

Extremely muted color compared to the one in the photo

I have been a regular customer of this brand throughout my adult life. I love products! My ONLY reason for giving two stars instead of five is that the product I received was very different in color from the picture. I was desperately hoping to match the shade of carpet I have and it just doesn't match how muted the shade is. I understand there will be some difference, but it was almost like getting a pastel version. Very disappointed. I very rarely have return issues and this would work great…

Good but not winter weight Vellux

As our much used original WestPoint Velux quilts with tags fell apart after too many washes I was delighted to see this Velux quilt from the same company here at Revain and ordered the full size in tornado grey. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that this wasn't the same nylon velor velvet that was hotel style and kept us warm all winter; This is a high quality microfiber plush, not even the thickness of a plush velor blanket for warmth. I later read reviews of the original Vellux comforter…

Pros
  • Waiting for
Cons
  • The list will be long.
