Looks good and works great

This is exactly what I needed, I've just bought a large open shed and I didn't need constant electricity but I did need it for a while. So I built it into the side wall and hooked up lights and outlets to the sheds. Now all I have to do is connect an extension cord and plug it into this device and I have the light and all the power I need. Ideal for me.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Check the length of your screws!

I installed this socket on the floor of my closed trailer. I've used weather sealing on the sides for added protection. Note that the included screws can protrude like mine and my trailer floor was 3/4 plywood. Depending on the installation space, you may need 4 screws. Very important. There are rubber fittings between the attachment points and the connector insertion points. stunning

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good option for connecting 110v power to the inside of my cargo trailer

Bought to solve the problem of how to get 110v power into my cargo trailer without an extension cord having to use through the opening door. This product offers a quick and easy answer! Looks well made. Easy to install if you have minimal mechanical skills and a 2" hole saw. Very clear, but the instructions do not really refer to the product.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Works for me in plugs

The power supply was dispatched quickly and arrived as advertised. I needed a way to power the RV I'm building. I put the extension through the door sill, but I couldn't close the door completely. I ordered this entrance and it solved this problem and also gave me an extra power supply. It was easy to install and has so far weathered rain and snow with no leaks. I am satisfied with the purchase of this product.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Instructions are easy to follow and assembly was quick. Installation was easy and appears to be weatherproof (I live in California in a severe drought area so haven't been able to fully test it). All in all, a great solution for adding power (for lights, fans, air conditioning, etc.) to my She Shed. Now I have a fan and a De'Longhi portable air conditioner. My two dogs can hang out with me (which is a big plus! I would add 5 extra stars for that if I could). I will definitely buy a second one…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

It's $20 - you get what you pay for.

I dropped a couple of sprockets knowing that pulling the extension cord out of this outlet would put severe strain on the self-tapping screws provided, which would eventually rip out my car's plastic body. I bought 8-32 stainless steel mounting bolts with nylock nuts to hold them in place. Also, the socket body is what you pay for and the manufacturer had to supply a suitable plastic nut for the threaded body to secure it to the surface in question. Apart from that it works. I use it to connect

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
