OKEx is the offspring of exchange OKCoin, the brainchild of investor Star Xu. OKEx is to OKCoin as Coinbase is to GDAX – both exchange sets cater to different groups of investors. Okex has really grown to a renowned exchange since the turn of 2017 and the volume currently traded on the exchange speaks loud about how much people accept and trade there.
Pros
- The presence of tight security and the level they would go to make sure one is complaint with their values. Very exciting times ahead, and hopefully the Chinese ban doesnt affect much of their operations.
Cons
- The Chinese ban on Crypto would most likely reduce their customer base and shake things negatively a bit. As a Chinese exchange, these things are inevitable and it would only take time before the crackdown begins or goes into full swing.
