The XtendTouch display itself is of good quality. The only really negative thing about XtendTouch is the battery. It's dead every time you're going to use it. You have to keep it plugged in 100% of the time if you want to pick it up and use it. It never seems to turn off, even though the LED in the power button goes out. You try to turn it on and it won't turn on. You plug in the charger and it starts charging but writes 0%. Also, it doesn't charge when I use a Samsung USB C charger, only the charger that came with the XtendTouch. I haven't tried the Anker USB charger. Complaints about the lack of XtendTouch. Samsung DEX does not know what it wants to be. It's like learning a whole new operating system. It works very differently than your phone. Screen sizes and app locations are not saved. Every time you open an app, you have to drag it and use Windows-style strokes, boxes and crosses to resize, move and close the app. Simple things like browsing the bookmarks and shortcuts you use on your phone won't show up when you open the same app on the DEX screen. You can add apps and shortcuts to the DEX home screen, which is completely different from your phone's home screen. It's like resetting your phone. You add one to your phone, you have to add it separately to your DEX screen. If you want to remove an app or shortcut from the DEX home screen, you need to install a USB mouse and OTG adapter. All I wanted was to use my mobile phone on a large touch display like a traditional monitor. I couldn't figure out how to do it. If you disable DEX and only use screen mirroring, your phone's screen image will be displayed vertically in the middle quarter of the XtendTouch screen. It seems that when the app maintains a horizontal position on the phone, and the phone and XtendTouch are placed horizontally, it displays correctly on the XtendTouch, but if it's bumped or rotated you have to close the app and reopen it to view it . return to a horizontal position. Again, this all looks like Samsung DEX and image mirroring issues, not XtendTouch. The only issue I have with XtendTouch is battery drain when not in use. What a disappointment.
