I just bought this after my previous monitor's power supply failed and received it today. Facts The connectors on this model are standard power connectors, VGA and DVI-D (HDCP compatible). There's no HDMI input, which can be an issue if your source only outputs YCbCr color instead of RGB (which is limited to DVI), but I have no idea how common this is. I actually bought this item from Walmart.com because it was about $15 cheaper than the price listed here. I ordered it "site to store" so there was no shipping cost but delivery took a few days. This 24 inch screen is brighter and sharper than my old LCD which was also Acer. I have a dual screen setup and my old ten year old Samsung has been great all these years, but this new Acer outshines the old screen significantly. It replaces the 22-inch Acer that died after years of service. It would be a nice flat screen that can only be changed or added for size, brightness and clarity.

I bought three of these from three different places. The first had problems after more than 60 days. Half of the screen turns off. You could see the screen, but it was very dark. The second was finished in 2 weeks. The third started the same way after 43 days. Very good, bright screen. My 17" has lasted many years but this one. I can't say I will be on any other.

I also have an Acer G245HQ (another great monitor) and I can see a few differences. First, the screen size is slightly larger than the G245HQ. This is a 1920x1080 monitor with VGA and DVI. Not sure if it's DVI-I or DVI-D but will check here soon. It's brighter than the G245HQ, but setting the brightness to 70 balances it out. I received this monitor fairly quickly and was happy with it. At first the picture looked a bit dark, but now it's leveled off and I like the picture. No problem and I would recommend this monitor to anyone who doesn't need a mobile stand (it's pretty rigid) but I just leave mine in a fixed position so no worries.

Bought a few days ago, delivered in 4 days. Easy to set up and works fantastic. I don't know why so many people leave bad reviews because of the packaging, mine came in a secure box with styrofoam to keep the screen from hanging around. It seems normal to me. Definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of buying
