Excellent! best in my review

I am very pleased with the product. I am able to check my blood pressure regularly and the device is accurate. The reason it is is because right after taking with my device I also checked with the doctor and turned out to be the same. I am very happy with the product and it was a very good deal. I worked as a nurse before and I believe this is the most accurate way to measure the blood pressure.

Pros
  • Been a good buy for him to use as a nurse
Cons
  • The cuff is not adjustable enough for some individuals

Good price in my review

Good price and good value and you should have it in your home or office first aid kit.Just make sure you know how to use it, if you don't LEARN.

Pros
  • Economical option for blood pressure monitoring
Cons
  • The device may not work properly if the batteries are low

Gave me confidence in nursing school

I used this cuff to practice on myself and my family during nursing school. The cuff is quality, and it stores easily in the included case.

Pros
  • Good purchase. I would recommend through ebay than any other website. I believe in ebay
Cons
  • The instructions for use are not clear

Makes An Excellent Donation

For the past several years I have been taking ADC Bp Cuffs and Stethoscopes with me on my visits to The Philippines as donations for Educational Institutions, Medical Mission Organizations and even for a City Jail in which some of the Jail Officers are also Certified Licensed Nurses.Although I am not engaged in the medical profession itself, I was formerly employed by a manufacturer of Medical Electronic physiological recording devices so I am familiar with how accuracy and durability…

Pros
  • Gift purchase
Cons
  • The cuff is not suitable for larger-sized arms

worked well for about 2 weeks

I bought this for school. and before a few classes ended it was leaking air.I found this device to be seemingly better quality than ones school offered and several classmates preferred using this one. however - it leaks.Pump it up. and then, you don't have to turn any valve for the air to leak out at just the right volume to get a reading. It's kinda automatic in a sense. but not a professional tool.I would return this to the mfg since it's a faulty product and NOT worth recommending. .I'm far…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • The device is not user-friendly for beginners

Working well so far

Gets the job done. I've used it a few times and have gotten accurate results. Each component seems to be durable and well made. Obviously it's not the top of the line but it accomplishes what it needs to. Blood pressure readings are ever changing in an individual so it's hard determine what can be the cause of different results each time (the person or the cuff). However, for this price, besides it working well now.it's a price point where I would not be too upset if it only lasted a few years.

Pros
  • Latex-free construction for individuals with allergies
Cons
  • The cuff is not easily adjustable with one hand

I ordered because it was a best seller on amazon

I do not have lot of experience with other Sphygmomanometers, so cannot compare with other types. I got this after my wife (who is an MD) insisted me to get this one and get rid of all the digital wrist and arm BP monitors. So far, myself (Rph) and her likes it. I ordered because it was a best seller on amazon. I could have found cheaper one on ebay or amazon, but wanted to get a better one even if it costs a little as I would keep it for a while. For the money I spent, I believe it was a good…

Pros
  • Dual scale gauge for easy interpretation of blood pressure values
Cons
  • The device is not suitable for individuals with a history of heart disease

Great product. Excellent support.

Great product, well made and functional, except that it comes with a short tube to the pressure gauge and I wanted a full length tube. I contacted ADC directly and they mailed me a long tube (to match the inflation bulb). I am impressed by the support from ADC, as well as the quality of the product.

Pros
  • Excellent customer support services
Cons
  • The cuff is not suitable for individuals with a history of hypertension

Very basic and works well

I bought this ADC model and a friend of mine bought the prestige model. The prestige has a nicer cuff (satin material), but the hose connection to the pump on the prestige comes loose easily. However, the satin cuff does make for more comfort and is more flexible, allowing one to fold the cuff to see the gage better; where as the ADC model's cuff is very stiff and hard to bend.

Pros
  • Comprehensive instructions included for easy use
Cons
  • The device is not suitable for individuals with hearing impairments

As expected - my new review

I was amaze by how fast this product was deliver to my home after making the purchase. everything seem to be working just fine so far, but since I have just receive it a few days ago, i don't really know how well it will continue working in the near future. Best of luck to me !

Pros
  • Anti-microbial coating on cuff to prevent infection
Cons
  • The device is not waterproof

being a nurse, I've used a lot of different cuffs. this one is the easiest cuff to put on patients' arms because its has a simple design with none of those metal buckle/loop, that the cuff usually had to be looped around it. not having the metal buckle/loop makes it easy to put around the arms of even most challenging patients.

Pros
  • Chrome-plated brass air release valve.
Cons
  • The device does not have a backlight for low light conditions

Lightweight, inexpensive and good for occasional use

I had to replace my ancient cuff, but didn't want to spend a great deal of money for an item I use only occasionally in a grab bag I use for my work outsie of the clinic. This product seemed to meet my needs in that setting. it produces good results when compared to other units. I would choose a heavier model if I was planning to use it daily. Overall, this product is fine.

Pros
  • Easy-to-use bulb for inflating cuff
Cons
  • The device may give inaccurate readings due to external factors such as temperature and humidity

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great: reliable, not expensive, latex free.

ADC aneroids are among the best. Not expensive, latex free, precise. They are work horses. Bought the ADC Gauge Guard, shown in the picture.

Pros
  • Approved for use in hospitals and clinics
Cons
  • The device is not suitable for individuals with a history of diabetes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Quality, good price

I just got this today, so I can't speak to its durability, but it appears to be a quality cuff, like I've used in hospitals. The gauge is heavy, solid feeling, and has a strong clip on the back. The bulb and tubing are substantial, not flimsy, and the knob is metal and seems reasonably precise. The zippered carry-case is pretty much junk, though--thin fabric-lined vinyl with a cheap zipper and no strap, handle, or attachment points. It does the job of keeping the cuff and tubes contained (not…

Pros
  • Wide range of cuff sizes for optimal fit for various arm sizes
Cons
  • The device is not accurate for individuals with irregular heartbeats

Well made. Good piece of equipment. It works.

A good product. It was my first cuff and sphygmomanometer so I did not know what to expect. Then I got hired and saw how flimsily made were the products we were using in the private sector. It turns out that this purchase by ADC is fairly sturdy compared to what I have found being used in the workplace. Mind you, the flimsy cuffs worked, so maybe robust material and stitching is overrated. But since this is a review of the product, I will make the point that it is well made. Whether ADC still…

Pros
  • Trusted by medical professionals worldwide
Cons
  • The cuff is not suitable for individuals with a history of nerve damage

Great BP Cuff in my review

Bought it for pharmacy school. Received it in perfect condition. Began training on how to do vitals and it serves the intended purpose. I learned that it is better quality than some of my classmates purchased. Not a bad price. Would definitely recommend this item!

Pros
  • Lightweight cuff is perfect for geriatric patients
Cons
  • The device may cause dizziness or lightheadedness in some individuals

I also have a digital blood-pressure monitor, but being an athlete, I have a slow resting pulse rate, and I find the digital monitor to give erratic readings. It took some practice to learn to use a sphygmomanometer with a stethoscope (learning to use the stethoscope of monitor my pulse was the difficult part), but now that I've mastered the technique, I get blood-pressure readings at home that track well with the readings in my doctor's office.

Pros
  • High-quality nylon cuff material for long-term durability
Cons
  • The device does not come with a storage case

Perfect! So Versatile!

As a nursing student I needed a cuff for clinicals. This cuff is so versatile,it fits nearly all adult sizes. My hubby who has a large muscular arm (who always says he needs the XL cuff when at the doctors) bet me this cuff wouldn't fit, but guess what? It did. I used it on an over 400lbs man the other day, and it worked great. I then used it on a very thin women, worked great. Love that it comes with it's own carrying case, so I can keep it in my pocket. Great item at a great price. Awesome!

Pros
  • Works accurately even in noisy environments
Cons
  • The device may not work properly if the cuff is too small for the arm
