Amazon Essentials Little Short Sleeve Leotard Girls' Clothing for Active Review

My daughter is a size 7 and the M/8 fits her perfectly. The top shrunk a bit in the wash so I made it a little bigger. If your child has a smaller build you could probably fit her, but my daughter is medium build and long torso. A skirt is a shorter skirt that basically just hides it in the back but nothing else. It's actually okay because when she performs in her leotard after ballet she tends to rip her skirt, and when she's shorter she's less likely to rip it.

This simple skirted swimsuit is very beautiful. The material is thick and soft. I think the size is right. I read other reviews about it running small and ordered a size 8 for my daughter who is almost 7 years old. It's a bit baggy at the shoulders and there's definitely some extra material at the waist. The quality is as good as our Danskin Leos.

My 8 year old LOVES ballet. When she's not in class, she still wears her bathing suits. This one is perfect because it comes with a mesh skirt. Washes well and fits perfectly. I ordered her size XL. she loves colour. My daughter's photo is inside for reference. (She wears it with leggings underneath when not in class.) It's just amazing and my granddaughter loves it. It's a beautiful shade of pink that suits her well and is comfortable to the touch. I like the design, doesn't shrink in the wash. This swimsuit was good. It was very nice. The quality seemed good. It was a good thickness. I've always felt that bathing suits are a little tight. I usually take a larger size because I don't like it when they feel uncomfortable. So you can think about it. The color was beautiful. It looked just like the picture. It was easy for her to move. I would recommend it.

This is an adorable swimsuit with a skirt. My 4 year old daughter has been spitting up and has lived in it since she arrived. We have the colors light pink and purple and they are very true to size. I'm not sure how long she can wear it before it outgrows it, but for now it fits absolutely perfectly, as does the leotard. If I increased the size it would probably be too big which is not very suitable for a swimsuit so the XS is perfect for a 4 year old. The skirt is perfect for her dance classes

It is well made of medium weight material. It's well stitched so it won't rip while your little one frolics around the house. The skirt is light and flowing. The body is soft and taut. The shoulder width is a bit wider, but that's not a problem unless your child has a slim build. It's stretchy enough to wear for a couple of years but doesn't dangle. Machine wash and dry.

This swimsuit has sleeves and a built in skirt for more coverage than some swimsuit options. It's a very cute style and the blue on my screen matches the real color. You may want to wash it in a delicate bag to ensure the skirt doesn't snag. Size XXL is a bit big for a petite 12 year old girl but probably perfect for a medium sized girl.

This is the perfect leotard set for my little ballerina! It's plain black with sleeves and a skirt for modesty. The size fit my 3 year old and left plenty of room to stretch. This is perfect when you need a cheap dance leotard fast!

The swimsuit fitted well and appeared to be of good quality, but the skirt ripped all the way down after just one wear and wash. Wouldn't recommend it.

Got this for my 3 year old and it's very cute, lovely colour, nice neckline (not too low) and appears to be well made. It is a different color from a different brand and is very short in comparison. The skirt barely covers her ass. I put tights on her so it's ok but I won't be buying them again (at least the ones with the skirt) other than they're great and wash well.

This is the cutest little swimsuit with a little chiffon fabric that wraps lightly around the waist. This is pure white color, short sleeves, no pants length. The material is not too thick and not too thin, ideal for monograms. I'm so disappointed because the item description said I would get a size 2T and a 2T kid can't wear it. I will give it to my 6 month old cousin. Also, the quality and looks seem great, but the size didn't fit.

I was very surprised when I opened the package and found this beautiful swimsuit. The base is an elegant addition to the swimsuit. Well built, pure white, made the little girl very happy! It looks great, not sure what to wash every other day on a child but I think it will stand up to a child in white. :)

Order one size larger. I ordered a medium for my size 5 and it's a little loose but comfortable for her. She loves this dress so much that she wants to wear it outside of dance class too! I just ordered her a dress in a different color so she has 2 of them. :)

This is a good dance leotard. It's affordable, which is great because you never know how long little kids will be doing it. Comfortable but a bit tight I would guess for child's comfort.

Bought for my just under 5 year old based on age recommendations and it gives her a wedge heel (prewash). It's about in the 50th percentile. Otherwise it washes well and good. Perfect for my 3.5 year old.

My daughter is 3 (and tall) so I bought the 4T. She is 42 inches and 37 pounds. The 4T looks like it would fit a 2 year old. I'm going up a few sizes.
