Windows 10 issues, terrible range, clean and full of junk

This worked for a few days with the universal windows driver, then stopped working on boot with an error code 43 in device manager. The only way to fix this is to download the drivers from the Asus website. But every time I reboot the same error comes back and I have to reinstall the driver. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't literally take 10 minutes to install the driver software. Updated Review: This adapter is pure and complete junk. Not only does it have the driver issues mentioned above…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues

The perfect BT complement for my PC

When I assembled my new PC I couldn't believe MB didn't support BT. Anyway, I bought this product (there are cheaper ones like this one but this one has better reviews and I just didn't want the headache that the cheaper one might not work). It works great with no hiccups. I mainly use it to connect my headset to my computer to join Zoom meetings. Couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • How everything is still
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was

Audio connection Intermittent

When using Bluetooth hearing aids: Sound quality is good. The sound has been synchronized with the speech. But the audio was interrupted, usually at least once a minute. I have Windows 10 Pro and have been working with an ASUS rep to get it working to no avail. Also, the Bluetooth range is about 10 feet, which is a lot less than the 20-30 feet I get with other Bluetooth devices. My guess is that since the key is much smaller than usual, the radio transmitting antenna inside is very small and…

Doesn't do what I need Bluetooth network adapter

. This is an overview of the ASUS USB-BT500 Bluetooth adapter. My experience: In the end it doesn't do what I need. I use a Nintendo Switch Pro controller as the main controller for use with my PC. I mainly play retro games like Pokemon, Super Mario RPG and some others with this controller. My old bluetooth adapter was built into my Asus B450-I motherboard and works great with common devices like keyboard and mouse. Контроллер подключался нормально, однако, когда я разорвал пару или отключил…

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • No automatic setup

Much better than the built in Bluetooth on my latest PC.

This tiny key far exceeded my expectations. I was convinced that nothing could work as well as built-in Bluetooth. I use it all the time and I haven't had a single signal drop. No hiss, no volume changes, no problems. I threw away the packaging, so I don't remember the actual numbers, but the signal goes much, much further than ASUS' own citations. My previous built-in Bluetooth signal would cut out if I went too far around a corner into another room. This ASUS dongle sends me a signal through…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

View only works on Fedora 32 if.

I'm in trouble. The device worked about two updates ago. Not so much today. See my initial installation problems below. Then check what you need to do to install the driver after each kernel update. Currently when I turn off and do a backup, the driver doesn't turn on until I log in, then uninstall it, then open settings and then turn it back on. Only then can I click the Bluetooth mouse and turn it back on. Until then, you'll need a mouse connected to navigate Gnome Desktop. I don't call it…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price

Works BADLY with Sony WH-1000XM3 - making ASUS A NIGHTMARE

Works BADLY with Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Headphones - What a NIGHTMARE. Also doesn't work with my FIIL T1 X wireless headphones, nothing but intermittent intermittent sound. After reading the ASUS forums it seems like their customer support doesn't exist. The intermittent tone sounds like a phone call before stopping. Lately, my impeccable opinion of ASUS FAST is fading. I also have a Rampage Extreme 3 motherboard that keeps getting stuck on the BIOS screen due to a stupid software decision by

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No performance
