Description of ⚡ BNTECHGO 18 AWG Enameled Copper Magnet Wire - Magnet Winding Wire - 2 Oz - 0 Gauge

High Quality enameled Copper Wire!Durable and not break while winding the coils.Highly Efficient!. Magnet wire is copper wire that coated with a thin layer of insulated enamel. This 18AWG magnet wire is 2 ounces(25 feet). The copper strands conducts, the insulation is made from modified Polyester with a Polyamideimide overcoat, and protects the coiled wire from short-circuiting. This varnished copper wire is constructed with premium enamel insulation.Temperature rating 155°C (311°F) makes it suitable for several thermal overload applications.Raw copper is drawn to meet specific size requirements based on NEMA MW-35-C standard. 18 gauge enameled magnet wire: Wrapped in spool and color is red.Outside diameter 0.0393"for perfect thickness. BNTECHGO magnetic copper wire is widely used in the construction of transformers, wound coils, motors, solenoids, instruments, inductors, speakers, electromagnets, and other applications that require tight coils of insulated wire.

This is real copper! It's inorganic!

That's a real, honest wire! It's made of copper and looks absolutely 100% natural (I'm pretty sure it's made without hormones or antibiotics, but I'll admit I'm wrong). And it conducts electricity! Enamel coating - well, real enamel! At least as far as I can tell. (Maybe it's fake enamel, but it's insulating and I can't tell real from fake enamel.) Is this a great product or what?

Pros
  • High-quality enameled copper wire! Durable and will not break when winding coils. Highly efficient!
Cons
  • weak

Excellent for "Bodge Wire "

A good thin magnet wire to have on hand for making various things (transformers, motor windings, magnets, etc.) and for repairing and modifying circuit boards. This material is readily available, so we stock it in the lab. While it doesn't withstand heat like "silicone or teflon coated white wire", solid core magnet wire bends more easily on the board. and also burn in part of the insulation with an iron. Much better than trying to strip the 30ga wire.

Pros
  • BNTECHGO Magnetic Copper Wire is widely used in the construction of transformers, coils, motors, solenoids, instruments, inductors, speakers, electromagnets and other applications that require dense windings of insulated wire.

More practical and easy to use than 30 ga

Many electronic components contain magnet wire, which at 30 ga.a is sometimes difficult to work with. If your project calls for a small magnet wire, there's no reason to go with 30 ga. 28 ga is much easier to use and just as flexible for practical purposes. The insulation stays at 28 ga at 200 degrees C so I wouldn't try to burn it before use. It is better, faster and more efficient to use a metal file and remove it. Using a sharp knife is not enough and will gouge the wire.

Pros
  • The magnet wire is a copper wire coated with a thin layer of insulating varnish. This 18AWG magnet wire is 2 oz (25 feet) thick. The copper conductors are conductive, the insulation consists of modified polyester with a polyamide-imide coating, which protects the coiled wire from short circuits.
Cons
  • Long delivery
