Great for Volt 700.

A very useful accessory for my (excellent) Cateye Volt 700. The battery screws into the charger, the connection is tactile and secure.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some problems

Fast charger for flashlights and reflectors

Perfect for my 700 and 800 volt batteries. Loads fast. The base is wide enough for stable vertical charging (unlike CRA-002).

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Works great, nothing more to say

Works great, nothing more to say. My battery charges very quickly with this stand (about 2 hours) when it's down to 20% (according to the instructions). I have one for home and one for work.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Protection

Dock charger for Evolt 300, 700 and 800

This also allows you to charge the Evolt 800 battery (similar to the 300 battery but longer and with more capacity. The mini USB socket on the Cateye flashlight can be tricky, but this dock is easier to use. A vigorous twist is required to disconnect the battery from the light due to the tight watertight seal. Comes with a short USB cable and a very useful plastic cover to cover exposed battery posts to cover

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are new competitors

If you have a spare battery, you should have it too.

I love my Cateye Volt but I've found that on some of my long night rides when I need the full 700 lumens I've been limited in range due to the battery pack. So I bought a replacement. With this stand I can charge both batteries or leave the light on the bike and only charge the battery. It includes a short micro USB cable, but my smartphone uses the same cable, so I can use this charger to connect as well if needed. Small enough to pack easily and since it uses the same interface as my phone…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Out of style

Give it enough amps to run

Runs well. I only have one rechargeable cartridge but I prefer to charge it from the charging station rather than the light circuit and I could end up buying a second cartridge by charging both cartridges at the same time, albeit faster for a cartridge that uses a charging station. If the user is having trouble getting the red charge indicator to glow clearly, make sure the cartridge is screwed all the way into the cradle and that the USB power adapter is supplying at least 1 amp. I had…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Run speed
