It was a great purchase, especially for the price.

I've always liked Cowon DAP, the sound quality is fantastic, I added a 400GB card (works best in FAT32 format). I also use Plenue 1 and had to tweak a bit when using 2, the buttons are on the other side and easier to press than 1 but a small tweak for such an incredible sound. I have a Dignis case to keep it safe, but the one that comes with it is just as good, I just think the Dignis looks better (looks don't equal sound quality, it's all about the sound).

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not trendy

Great Sound Best in Portable AV

I've wanted to test the P2 for a long time but couldn't find the right words to describe it. All I can say is that I'm absolutely blown away - not only is the sound great, but it reveals so many details that I didn't even know existed before. With a balanced output, even a pair of entry-level audiophile headphones is enough to make your ears pop. I'm also impressed by Cowon's ability to constantly improve and make something already great even better, as shown by the comparison between P2 and P1

A wonderful DAP that is unique!

Really unique as it has those 2 handles. Some reviewers complain about redundancy. Wow! You can't please everyone. You don't have to use it if you don't find it necessary. I LOVE it and use the second wheel for double the volume. With no line out, that really helps. I wish Cowon had added a line out and bluetooth for emergencies. I use 12 South Key to stream on Audioengine BT1. What a great combination! JetEffect is unmatched among DAPs. The only other DAP that beats this one is the much more…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Security

Audiophile Toys: Portable Audio and Video

I've been looking for a DAP for a long time. I've been thinking about an Android based device so I can stream multiple services and save phone battery. , but none of the streaming services I subscribe to support high resolution. And my Android Pixel 2 supports aptxHD and LDAC over Bluetooth, so with the Bluetooth 5.0 adapter I can get the best online sources with the headphones I have. So my new criterion was a digital audio player that could play both .wav files from my ripped CD collection…

Amazing sound for portable audio and video devices

This is not a smartphone replacement. A smartphone can stream music and take photos, but a dedicated device like the P2 plays music much better. Magic happens with the right headphones. The P2 gives me a fantastic listening experience. My headphones on the Fostex TH-909. JH Audio Layla travel headphones. My home headphones are MrSpeakers Etherflow C. The P2 is my first playback device that doesn't require EQ on any of my headphones. iBasso, FiiO and other devices have never been so lucky. My P2

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Hard to say
