DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I bought this grinder and TWICE the bottom of the plastic container that holds the coffee has fallen out and the coffee has spilled all over the place! It's useless. I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We missed the return deadline by about 15 days and it was too expensive to do it so quickly. Did I mention DO NOT BUY THIS PRICELESS PRODUCT?

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • No insurance

Versatile sanding. It has a few minor annoyances: 1. Sometimes the beans get stuck in the hopper and the grinder won't grind the beans for 5-10 seconds; This is a problem because the grinder uses a timer to determine the amount of grind, not the grind weight.2. Because of its shape, it is not easy to wipe out the earth container; The opening at the top is very narrow. In general it works. However, I'll probably try another brand when this one comes out. Update 9/4/18 - I replaced this coffee…

Static is REAL! Extremely disappointed.

Too bad I didn't heed other reviewers' warnings about this grinder's static electricity issues. This is a serious problem for which I have not found any solutions. The grinder creates a huge mess of coffee grounds every time you use it. Attempting to pour coffee grounds from a container into a brewer is comical at best. I am returning this item for a full refund. Another problem that should be given special attention is poor grinding quality. I only bought this item to grind espresso. The best…

Fine and smooth grind for that americano or latte you like

I have a Delonghi espresso machine Delonghi EC680M DEDICA 15 bar pump espresso machine, stainless steel at home and this grinder makes my shots perfect. My previous coffee grinder was the Capresso Burr Grinder. I thought it was the same as a cone grinder but I was wrong. Ever since I first started using the Capresso grinder, the fine grind setting has been almost like a French press. BUT I thought that was probably normal. My espresso shots were always so weak that I made 3 double shots for…

Quiet and compact

This is my second of these devices in 4 years. Even though my last one dropped the "Ghost Coffee” this is still my favorite model. It's not too noisy and makes for a fairly even grind with minimal dust. I briefly tried a cheaper model (Cuisinart DBM-8) but found it noisier, created more coffee dust and took up more space! Two other features of this model are the easy choice of grinding degree and the automatic adjustment. Cut-off for the number of cups you want to brew (in terms of grind…

Works very well and looks great on the counter.

After reading countless reviews from customers and other sources over the course of 2 weeks, I finally settled on this one. We usually drink ground coffee, but for the past year and a half we have preferred to grind the beans ourselves. We just used a bladed food processor to make our Kona blend and while it tasted great, the first time I used this slower cone grind I actually found the coffee tasted a lot stronger. And I was skeptical and didn't expect big changes, but I was pleasantly…

Great grind and performance

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to buy this cuisinart programmable grinder. I took a chance as I have several cuisinart kitchen appliances and love them all. I've had this for a few days now and decided to write my review today after pouring over my morning coffee and noticing how the shape of the grinder jar narrows at the top making it easy to pour straight into my brew. Filters with no side protrusions through which coffee can splash onto the counter. That's a big plus…

very good mill but could be better + TIP **UPDATE**

My wife and I grind coffee beans to drink coffee every morning. We used to buy ground coffee, but when we tried freshly ground coffee made from coffee beans just before brewing, we just couldn't go back to ground coffee. My wife loves Cuisinart brands, so we've only had one Cuisinart coffee maker and one Cuisinart medium grinder for over 10 years. If I remember correctly we have replaced the coffee maker 3 times and only replaced the center grinder once, but last week the blade in the center…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Exorbitant Price

Looking for a good cone grinder and want to know if is it worth the money? Naturally. That's why you're reading this. Let me get to the point. I spent about $70 to replace the grinder. It's worth the money. People refer to static in a plastic container as a crazy mess. It is not. When the coffee comes out, some coffee dust will be left behind. Nothing you don't expect. And that's significantly less than what's left in the grinder after you empty it. If that doesn't suit you, just put a lunch…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not for everyone
