    I give this monitor a decent rating

    Someone might be wondering why I bought this monitor. I bought it because I needed a very niche legacy resolution to work with to replace my old 19" 5:4 1280x1024 aspect ratio monitor that I use as a second monitor.     • It doesn't have an HDMI port. VGA, Displayport and USB connections only. I had to buy a VGA HDMI adapter.

    Great and cheap second monitor

    I needed a relatively small second monitor for email, slack, etc. to be visible at all times while using my primary 1440p monitor for encoding. The only reason there are 4 runs is because it has 3 dead pixels. For one use case, that's fine. But it's really great. I had it fixed for $60 which is a lot for what it was. For reasons of space, I wanted an IPS display with an aspect ratio of 4:3 or 5:4 in this size. Great color, great viewing angles, pretty decent stand.

    This monitor serves its purpose at a very good price. I wouldn't use it for gaming as it's not the highest resolution and it's square. I have a very expensive ASUS 4K for this purpose.

    What's not to like?

    You can't beat the price of this monitor. I liked the first one so much that I ordered another one. I ordered the monitor first because it fit exactly where I needed it and the price was attractive. It is installed on the dashboard of my Broward yacht and is used to display chart, radar and AIS information. I wanted to mirror the display on the flybridge so I split the signal and placed the second from the top. With the USB keyboard and mouse splitter I have a full second navigation station so…

    The screen came but the base the screen was attached to didn't fit. So I couldn't use the screen and got it back Poor Viewing Angles: Poor viewing angles can cause the display to look distorted or washed out when viewed from the side or at an angle..

    Dell monitors are updated like new

    I bought two 19 inch Dell monitors that were updated again and when they arrived they looked brand new with no defects. As soon as I plugged in both devices to create a dual monitor circuit, they turned on and automatically connected to my computer. After the Revain update, I was able to buy two 19-inch monitors for the price of one. I would consider buying other electronics in the future that Revain have renewed with their warranty.
