I also tried the Ultrasharp U2720Q, the color saturation is weird and hurts the eye. So I chose this one. However, the monitor I bought from Revain had all sorts of connection issues, the power and HDMI would not turn on and would turn off easily. I tried 27" 2k and 27" 1920*1080 before I bought this monitor, P2721Q is the best monitor for me (WFH, no gaming).1. Dell's monitor quality is better than other manufacturers (like SS, Acer) with the same resolution as 1920*1080.2 in my opinion. If you want to buy a 27 inch monitor with encoding, 4k is the best solution. Don't try 2k or 1920*1080 except for gaming. :3840*2160) But the shipping is so slow that's why I give 4 stars instead of 5. We can add $10 or more to get it faster.

Caveat: my first IPS panel. If this is your first IPS panel, you won't like the glow. It seems reasonable by category comparison, but compared to the old TN it's a night light. I bought this monitor for home office use with the new M1 MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, the display did not recognize the USB-C signal from my laptop even after several cable attempts. It's pretty amazing, so amazing that I was initially concerned it was too bright a display for my home office and tried a smaller, lower quality monitor during the day, but ended up abandoning this one. The picture is just amazing, probably the best quality monitor I've ever had. The best thing for me is the only cable to connect it to my Macbook Air and charge it. Works perfectly. I offered this monitor to my wife who bought it and loves it as much as I do.

All in all, a well-functioning monitor. Received this as a P2415Q upgrade (I would argue that the color and brightness uniformity isn't as accurate in the new one as it was in the old one). The picture quality is amazing. It replaced a 2K monitor that paled next to my 5K iMac. It pays to sit next to an iMac. Great monitor and specs.

Great picture, I will buy another one. The only caveats are that 1. there are no built-in speakers and 2. USB-c (rather than traditional USB-a) is required to use the USB ports, saving you hours of frustrated Luddites trying to figure it out , how to get the soundbar and camera working. Once you have everything set up, it's a beautiful display.

Less than a year later, the USB-C port stopped working with the display, so I started using the displayport, which continued to work for a few months until part of the screen got stuck on the previous image. The stuck image flickers no matter what device and port I'm using. basically useless now. Absolutely disappointing as it is more expensive than other monitors I have that still work well after many years.

I've done a lot of research on using an external 4K monitor for photo and video editing on my 2018 15" MacBook Pro. I was expecting a vastly improved resolution. However, in my layman's opinion there is no difference in resolution compared to a MacBook Pro and 27" 4K monitor. Everything looks great on the big screen, especially 4K and 5K videos from YouTube. I've also connected a Dell desktop computer running Windows 2010, but I'm having trouble using a VGA to HDMI adapter or Displayport cable.

The monitor flickers. With multiple computers, multiple cables, multiple reboots. Sometimes everything is fine, and sometimes it flickers insanely. Conditioning the LCD sometimes helps for a few minutes and then returns to severe flickering. Dell didn't get it.

I ordered 3, each painted significantly different than the others, even with the same settings. Despite color calibration, I could not achieve the same white balance on every monitor. If you have a monitor and are lucky enough to get one close to 6500K then this is a decent product. The stand and bezel are sleek and the resolution is excellent (as you'd expect from a 4K 27"). But I couldn't find a kit to match. It was also a bit darker than I'd like.

After 2 days of use the screen stopped working. Have different cables, sockets, etc. Nothing helped. I took this as a sign to return this ad immediately. The brightness wasn't enough and "white" wasn't that white.

I have a 2014 Imac Pro with an amazing screen. I wanted an extra screen and this Dell had great reviews for their screen. It's actually pretty close to the Mac, but not as good. In terms of clarity, I'm very happy with it. My issue with Dell is that they had no literature on how to connect to an Imac of that age. I spoke to a Dell rep and he was able to tell me what might work. And it worked. The problem is that Dell doesn't respond when my imac goes to sleep. I have to unplug the Dell for 30…

I recommend looking for another monitor model. If they work they're fine, but we ordered 6 of these and 4 didn't work. The fact that they were damaged during transport was not a problem. The monitors were faulty :(This is a known issue at Dell.

The screen burned out and flickered for 5 minutes after opening the device. Super disappointed with it. This was also discussed in another review. Hard, because the display looks really nice, only my problems hurt my eyes.

It's easy to read 2 pages side by side when they're 26 inches from my eyes, which are pushed to the back of my 31-1/2 inch deep desktop. Exactly what I needed. And it comes with so many cables that you can connect it to your laptop and other devices.

It now randomly darkens, rendering it unusable. I know it's the monitor and not my computers because it gets dark the same way on two different computers.
