Easy to use and can be used to measure the temperature of "surfaces " as well as sick children!

I love that you don't have to 'wipe' your forehead with this thermometer. Just hold it a little away from your forehead and press the trigger until you hear a beep. When I received it I was surprised to see that it can also be used to measure the temperature of surfaces. It was easy to use and seems accurate. We have a little grandson and we are going to use it to take temperature - much easier than the old fashioned way!

Easy to use but inaccurate.

This product is an easy to use thermometer that can be used in a different way than a traditional one (eg to measure the water temperature in a baby bath) which I really like. My biggest issue and reason for 4 stars is accuracy. Reading my forehead in the mid '97s (on 3 different people) kept getting readings. That tells me it's pretty accurate, but not exact. If I were using this to measure fever I would be using it specifically. This is another good tool, but I would still use another…

Good choice! in Health

The backlit screen is very useful when reading temperatures at night. With the side buttons you can recall up to 50 measurements and switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit mode. I can absolutely recommend this product. It looked like a quality device and felt very comfortable in my hand. It was nice to be able to take the temperature without touching the body. I had never used this type of thermometer before and couldn't believe how quickly it took the temperature. I like the backlit display…
