Great for fine motor skills

My grandson uses one of these for his occupational therapy. It's also great to have one at home. I wish there was one long line instead of a few short ones.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some tasks

good concept. need a job

"Inaccuracies" don't stick well and are difficult to pass through the balloons. The balls are very hard plastic - I was hoping they wouldn't damage the window or break if a child throws them - they are very hard and quite heavy for a child's toy.

Pros
  • Makes me feel good
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Very good quality toy for toddlers

Bought this for my 12 year old developmentally delayed daughter who is on OT. Your OT suggested large, palm-sized beads that could be strung on some sort of thread. I found them and thought they would fit. They are an excellent sensory tool. They have protrusions and different textures for stimulation, as well as a plastic string that you can attach beads to to help develop fine motor skills. The beads are also weighted, which is a good feature for kids who need an extra boost.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • For seniors

Cute but very disappointing

Set of 14? It comes with 10! Wow, so I'm not the only one who finds this awful. We received it as a Christmas present and immediately after opening the packaging, a bead got stuck in the thicker part of the lacing that came with it. We tried so hard to gently pull it out. Finally, after many days of frustration, I pulled hard and the yellow lace broke. This means that one of the three yellow parts is useless, as is the pearl that got stuck on it. Now the "necklace" is too short with a missing…

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Not bad

Impractical design flaws but working

I bought these for my little one to help develop fine motor skills but I don't think the designers really thought of this product. the areas on the inside of the threaded hole where the plastic "thread" gets stuck most of the time. I'm 30 years old and even had problems beading because of a quirk! Imagine how much more annoying the child! The "thread" is also plastic and divided into 3 inch sections, presumably to avoid a choking hazard. This is normal, but 3 inch sections are easily lost…

  • Regular price
