Description of 🔧 Caffelatex Sealant 1000mL by Effetto Mariposa: The Ultimate Solution for Tire Puncture Protection

SOLUTION: Very fast puncture repairing action, ideal for performance-oriented cyclists (and for those who want even more, we created Vitamina CL additive). QUALITY:Adds very little weight to wheels, following the suggested quantities. Its foaming behavior makes it spread evenly inside tires, covering the whole internal surface very efficiently. SAFE: Caffelatex doesn’t contain ammonia or other aggressive chemicals and is not toxic. Relying on synthetic latex, Caffelatex doesn’t create allergy issues associated with natural latex. PERFORMANCE: Caffelatex repairs punctures up to 5 mm (off-road tubeless tires) and 3 mm (road tubeless tires). SIZE: Caffelatex is available as bottles of 1000 ml or 250 ml, cheer packs/pouches of 60 ml. Ten-liter Caffelatex Pro Point cube is a great choice for teams or shops.

Filler neck does not fit

I have no idea if this thing will work, my review is the app. There is a small clear tube to attach the bottle to the bike tube valve. Too small a diameter to fit directly onto the inner tube. Also, as a suggestion for a design change, place a tube in the reservoir so that when the bottle is squeezed, the liquid flows into the inner tube of the bike. This would be much better than trying to tip the bottle over and squeeze, given the short connecting hose and poor connection to the tire nipple.

Pros
  • SAFETY: Caffelatex contains no ammonia or other harsh chemicals and is non-toxic. Caffelatex is based on synthetic latex and does not cause the allergy problems associated with natural latex.
Cons
  • No performance

Seals well, lasts 2-3 months

I get by with this for about 2-3 months, about the same as Stan, this sealer claims to foam and keeps it from drying out in one big chunk. After 3-4 months I need to add some sealer and it will seal again. A year later, when the tire blew out, I notice that there is still sealant in it, but it hasn't dried into a huge lump like other sealants. I use lilac to apply this through the valve stem, not the best way but I'm lazy and after a year or so the stem starts to stick together. So I replaced…

Pros
  • SIZE: Caffelatex is available in 1000ml or 250ml bottles as well as 60ml packs/sachets. The 10 liter Caffelatex Pro Point cube is a great choice for teams or shops.
Cons
  • Not sure

Only suitable for street pipes, deteriorates quickly.

Ideal for road tube/tubeless tyres. Be sure to check the expiry date! My personal cons: 1. Shouldn't have bought a large container. I have a pair of road tubulars and I get a flat tire once a year, so the previous batch of Caffelatex quietly expired and lost its sealing properties. Tip: As soon as you notice liquid settling in the bottle or dirty liquid leaking from your tire, it is past the expiry date and there are no seals left! Wasn't a good sealant for CX/MTB tires. Caffelatex has finer…

Pros
  • SOLUTION: Repairs a flat tire very quickly, ideal for performance-oriented cyclists (and for those who want more, we've developed the Vitamina CL supplement).
