Great pad at a good price

I have three to a side for the 290 plate. Holds up pretty strong. I used glue 252 from below. Driven 500 km on the Autobahn. No problem.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Crumpled

I like them better than the Renogy Brackets

They sit about a half inch higher than the Renogy brackets. So if you want to change the panel wiring configuration, you don't have to remove the panel from the roof. So. The Renogy terminals sit too low and you cannot insert or remove connectors without pulling on the panel.

Pros
  • Rugged Finish
Cons
  • Rugged

Holes don't fit for solar and wind power

The brackets are well made and strong but the hole the screw goes through to attach it to the plate doesn't fit. The break was too short. I have several Renogy mounts and they fit different panels perfectly. It's not like this. I ended up having to drill another hole to attach them to the panels.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

So far so good for solar and wind power

I've only had this installed and installed for a few weeks so I can't confirm its longevity. They seem to be sufficient. They are aluminum and can be bent easily, but I have no doubt they will hold up well enough. I have 350w panels so their holes didn't line up with my panels. I had to drill new holes in the panels. This is not a manufacturer error, just a piece of information for those who will be using it on larger panels than they are designed for.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • No instructions

Do not attempt to install panels without them.

Wow. Makes the job a lot easier and I like the cleats that also offer lateral support. I used them to attach panels to my boat's gear panel. Two on the side that's in the middle. one on the outer edge. A solid fit but they're raised just enough to be wearable. It's also easier for me to snag a canvas. I mean, if you're assembling twenty panels, make sure you use a track system, but if it's only a few. this is your ticket.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Frequency

Great mount: generators and portable power supplies

I have used similar panel mount mounts on my previous camper. I've been retrofitting RVs and installing solar panels on a new RV so I bought more mounts. Although I haven't installed the panels with these brackets yet they look just like the old ones that have worked fine for a number of years and still work perfectly. I like this style with extra grommets to prevent the mount from twisting against the panel frame. Cheaper Z-clamps often do not have these tabs.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Simple and safe parts and accessories for solar and wind energy

These brackets are very easy to install, they are strong, durable and very well constructed. I actually mounted very strong neodymium magnets on brackets and attached my small 100 watt panels to my steel roof without drilling any holes. Four brackets per panel and magnets hold each panel securely without worrying about them flying off in high winds. A few minutes later I installed the panels with brackets. They are the perfect size for my metal roof and clear the ridges between each roof panel.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

It could have been better but it was worth it.

Not a bad bang for your buck. However, there are a few things I don't like. First, they are taller than the R****y panel mounts. As a result, the panels mounted with it are higher than the mounting surface. For those with OCDs or using them for additional panel support to existing setups, you cannot use these OR other mounts. It's one brand or another. Second, the equipment is too small. Not only do the bolts penetrate the holes extremely imprecisely, the washers can also creep through. So plan

  • Brings joy

  • Mature model

Making a "detachable " RV solar mount

These mounts are the same quality as the Renogy mounts but are about an inch larger and cheaper. 1st photo) shows the Renogy attached with VHB tape less than 1 inch from the roof and cannot be easily removed. Photo 2) shows this larger mount used with a Renogy mount held together with a 1.75" or 5cm stainless steel bolt/two nuts a little over 2" from the roof allowing more clearance / Allows drainage and airflow. Photo 3) shows two fasteners held together with a 1.75" bolt/two nuts (remove the…
