HP 22Bw 21.5 LED Monitor - 1920X1080 HD IPS Display with Locking Feature Review

Great monitor with high resolution and excellent contrast values, a worthy upgrade from my old 2007 widescreen LCD monitor.

I'm not even sure if they're still in stock, but I'm going to trade mine in for an old computer and switch to a laptop, so I have to say goodbye. Easy to install, never gave me any problems, looks huge and bright with accurate colors and settings that are easy to adjust. I think I paid €60 new and I would pay €60 used. The best monitor I've ever had.

I did not purchase this monitor from Revain as Best Buy sold it for $129.99. I just bought a Mac Mini and was looking for a great monitor that I found to be fantastic compared to the Mac monitors. Sharp, crisp and just the right size for me. BUT at the same time I'm frustrated that I can't use any of the controls and can't turn them off. So for the price I'll leave it because of the nice picture it gives but disappointed that it's strictly a window monitor.

This is a great monitor 1) no matter the angle up to 178 degrees) and 2) no matter the input. I had an optional HDMI cable, but the system comes with a DVI and a VGA cable. I had a similar problem as another reviewer. Mine just died 1 week before the warranty expired. I can't find my receipt and it's very difficult to deal with HP. If Best Buy doesn't have a record of my purchase, HP will either trade me in or buy a new monitor and get a free extended warranty. Decent looking monitor but mine turned blue after 15 months - conveniently right after the warranty expired. Google a little, you will find many others with the same problem. I will not buy again.

Great monitor, but beware! The monitor is not VESA compliant and will not fit any of the standard 4 screw platforms on the market. My fault for not being more careful when reading the specs.

I bought the monitor as part of an open box campaign. It arrived in perfect condition as if the box had never been opened. I'm using the monitor as a full-size screen for my Chromebook. It's been up and running for almost a month. and i am very satisfied.

This monitor is fantastic. Viewing at an angle of 160 degrees does not affect the quality of the pixels at all. I'm using an Asus Q47 laptop and while the original screen resolution is great, the size is too small. With this monitor, I just plug it in and go!

The plug I received was really terrible. It's definitely not OEM, but it works and the monitor has good color, so I'm only giving stars for the adapter. I assume that's how it works. Good.

The perfect companion for my Mac Mini. Narrow bezel, matte finish, beautiful natural colors, wide viewing angle, total control. I like the 1360 x 768 settings found by holding down the Option key while selecting "scaled" in the Macintosh monitor settings page. Otherwise, this permission is not displayed. Bought 2 on sale for my work from home. One downside, I don't see it listed and didn't realize when I bought it, is that they don't have a VESA mount. VESA mounts are the standard for monitors these days. There are plans to install monitor arms to bring them into a more ergonomic configuration.

I have 2 of them who have been working for almost 2 years and the 3rd for about 6 months. Great screens, good color, good weight, decent frame size. In fact, the ONLY bad thing about them is that they CANNOT be installed without buying an adapter that plugs in where the base goes.
