    A small upgrade for my cheaper 3 year old Samsung monitor.

    I received one as a replacement for the Samsung U28E590 which was fine overall. a little brighter, a little more contrast. It is more responsive to switching inputs or resuming from sleep mode. The standout feature is the stand, it extends, tilts, rotates very nicely. The base plate is heavy and large, larger than the old display stand, requiring the table to be rearranged. HDR media rendered above it looked worse than without HDR media, the colors were more muted and the image appeared dull…

    HDR is hard to come by. to my rating.

    Looks great feels great definitely better than the one I had but nothing I tried could find an HDR capable setting on this monitor hence I was only able to give 4 stars. *Edit* After much research, despite the listing claiming otherwise, this monitor does not have HDR capabilities.

    Now it's called Monitor!

    The resolution to this is amazing. For my duties, both work and entertainment, this is very good. Text looks very crisp and videos are amazing too. I first bought a Samsung Odyssey 27 inch G3 which is so bad it's not good for this purpose as the monitor blurs text too much. It costs money.

    Image quality and viewing angles are impressive

    The picture quality is amazing. The viewing angle is amazing in both horizontal and vertical modes. A small problem is that I don't have an option for 75 Hz on my M1 MacBook Pro; maximum 60 Hz.

    Properties are not correct!

    This monitor doesn't support HDR as advertised and only offers a 60Hz refresh rate, not 75Hz as advertised. Could get what it offers for a lot cheaper and it would be a waste of time.

    The updated rating is the best in my rating

    September: I asked them to send a power cord, they sent a whole new screen and all. The original monitor powered on normally with a new GOOD AC power cord. Broken power cord reconfigured etc. August: Followed instructions, assembled screen, connected power... and nothing. We ordered over 30 of these for the employees' office and home office and a few didn't fit. I ordered one for my home office and nothing. I don't know if it's the power cord or the computer itself. But will be back.

    Totally satisfied with this monitor

    I bought this monitor to replace a Philips monitor that never saved its settings when I came out of sleep mode (dual monitor mode). I am using as the other monitor in my dual monitor setup. I waited 6 weeks to write a review to make sure it was perfect - it was.

    Great price for high image quality

    I've had it for 2 months, very impressed with the quality and can definitely tell it apart from my upgrade. For me the max frequency is 30Hz not 75Hz but it might be my system (M1 Mac mini) so try it yourself with your gaming system, PC or other software.

    USB-C and HDMI ports don't work; the screen is crooked; cannot interact with the firmware window

    The USB-C port never worked; one HDMI port never worked; another HDMI port is intermittent; the processing of other ports looks bad; The shield (physical shield) attached to the bracket is bent due to poor workmanship. When I connect a display, a firmware window pops up asking me to press enter or select another option, but there's no way to interact with the firmware. I downloaded and installed the software from LG's website but it doesn't seem to do anything. I do NOT recommend this product.

    An LG display that won't disappoint!

    Disclaimer: I didn't buy this from Revain - I actually bought it from a local retailer who ended up having it at a lower price.
